I hope to do some more. I have twin grandbabies I care for during day and a dog that we found out is severely allergic to the straw which causes serious respiratory issues. So I have been refiguring my garden. I still have four bales I may try though. The rest of the garden will be raised bed. I do hope to put out more videos. I just may not be putting them out as often. Thanks for ur support and happy gardening.

I hope you see this because I have a question I hope you can help me out with. This is my first year doing a straw bale garden and I am on day Six of conditioning. I know with your straw bales you had little mushrooms growing out and I don’t have any of that even though when I stick my finger in the bale I do feel it getting warm. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong because I don’t have those mushrooms growing? I’m looking forward to being able to plant but I don’t want to kill my plants if it’s not working. I’m using 13 1313 fertilizer and conditioning just like your schedule said to do. I’m usually pretty nervous when I do something new so I’m just getting your thoughts if you have a minute. Thank you

Happy to help with anything. I have been inactive for a few weeks due to a sickness and death in family so sorry I haven’t been posting any new videos. You are doing perfect. The mushrooms do not start on my bales until after the conditioning is complete. Also not all my bales get mushrooms. I get nervous as well when doing something new. Totally understandable. As long as you condition like the schedule says I’m sure it will all be fine and I’m almost certain the mushrooms will come. Just make sure the bales are not too hot when you start planting. I’m sure it’s going to be great. Let me know if you need anything. Happy gardening.
