@@jordanezell5132 chocolate with syrup... I don´t like this combo. I think this type of pastries goes great with nuts or dried fruits. There is a lot of recipes in which we can use to fill them other elements like chocolate or marshmallows (as you suggested) despite of this :)
Pardon me, but( no rudeness intended) these feel more like snack cakes rather than cookies. For me, a cookie is flat, rigid, usually round, and or crunchy. Theses just don’t fit that description.
There's nothing to apologize for, it´s ok. These pastries are a mixture of cakes and cookies, but more like a cookie. This element is not only round, flat and crunchy, there are many different types of cookies, not just the most common one you specify. Biscuits can be made in many shapes, tender and soft not only crunchy and not at all have to be flat. There are many possibilities. You can search and find a lot of them :)
