Prijedor is a city in the northwestern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the banks of the Sana River and the hills where the Kozara mountain descends into the Prijedorsko polje. After Banja Luka, Prijedor is the second largest city and the third largest in the number of inhabitants in RS.
