As a sniper in northbridge I always stay patient when I’m hunting big players I sit in my secret place for minutes and always catch someone with my good old sniper rifle.

Probably most useful tip:
Tracking: Surprised he didn't put it but ok
Tracking Is where you scan your area For a Full 360 degree or 180. Basically, Just Finding the Teeniest tiniest thing that moves is a clear headshot.
Now, its a skill that you should probably Do,
Lets say on this:
There's an Enemy on a Sniper Spot that to so hidden only the barrel and his eyes only poke out. Basically you are dead. Until you scan Your area like a Uav Drone Finding enemies.
You need Eagle Vision For this,
And You need a double check to make it a clear area.
Quick reflex is Probably a skill too, but its mostly linked to Tracking or Scanning.
Ok, you are on a sniping spot (A rock, a House, Anything).
And you are on the top of the rock the next thing you know It you just Exposed your location to a sniper and A Guy who has a reaction of 1Nano second. When you learn the mistake You found it out.
Why? Cuz you are at the top of a Rock Mountain Without An Object Background to Seal Your Position. You probably crouched or your stupid teammates stand there.
Sillouette: Where You are Standing or Crouching without Something to seal it.
Recommendation? Go a little bit low, prone or find a spot that coveres your position behing you and ye.

Fun fact: In military sniper course, you have 40 minutes to find at least 7 stuff as little as 4 inches long and that item was blended to the background. If you play where's Waldo and never failed you would probably master scanning technique.
Unlike the video said, ax-50 isn't the only gun that is useful, while supporting high power on everything up to t5....mosin and m24 have more power, m24 is cheaper and has access to t6 armor piercing which can one shot if you hit right, mosin is extremely cheap and has access to the instant kill t7 ammo. Ax-50 is easy to use because it's a .50 BMG, that said it has virtually no bullet drop in the game. But mosin and m24 do have this, unfortunately that is easy to overcome if you have common knowledge and the time to train your aim on valley.....valley is technically low risk snipers playground, this is where I make money, farm is just a thot in training since idiots wear t6 and forget they are not immortal in it

I always do this trick I like roleplaying as a real sniper in a battlefield and I understand how silhouettes and camouflage work, but since the surroundings were too bright and the player's silhouette is dark in the distance you cannot really use the full potential of that trick. Maybe in the next updates they will make it darker in the distance and create a free camo uniform rather than the one we use.

My only way to bait the enemy: Use an empty bag to bait your enemy and get to a high ground where you can see your bait and if you see one shoot it and i got millions of loot

Another important thing, you can use positioning to make the shot way easier, for example if you know there's a road that players tend to use, you position yourself so you are in a straight line along that road, you won't have to compensate for player movement, it's like shooting sitting ducks

Mosin was a valuable sniper to use the 16x scope top it of with a sniper silencer. You only need two tips. The first is A perfect view so you can see enemies in a perfect view. Second is a unnoticable spot so the enemies cant see you even if you missed a shot. Snipers are pretty easy to master but i dont suggest it if you cant hit your shots, and when kill a enemy quickly rotate to a easy find and scout if the enemy has a quad or not

For marksman rifles, M110 with M80 bullets would be your best choice, considering that the M110 is capable of mid to long range fights. If you have some koen to spend, SVDS is a go-to choice

thermals have an unmentioned downside: the have limited range- as in beyond 150 ish meters, things simply don’t show up. Thermal scopes have it a little worse than helmet thermals, but they both suck at LONG range, which is more often than you’d want as a sniper. Thermals seem to be better on marksman rifles where the mid-long range is king. If you want to take the AX to extreme ranges, which really isn’t even that far (imagine farm grain trade building vs stables down the road), you will need that view range.
TLDR: thermals let you see better at up until upper mid range, but will not let you see at all past 150m

Now I'm more curious about how your storage looks like. I mean I'm struggling with the space that my 14M in cash takes, I've resorted to trade T7's and stacked bags/rigs for compacting my money and still going at it, rn sitting at 31M total between cash and gear. I can't imagine what sort of stacking do you do to storage that lol, or maybe you don't keep any equipment whatsoever?

Before I watch the vid I wanna point out that the starting advice is top notch. You find and check sniper spots because you use and know the sniper spots.

For non-sniper user reading this if you are in a budget just go for the SJ16 it has a high noise suppression, has access to cheap t4 or t5 338. both only costing about 100-200 per bullet and players on lockdown mostly use t4 gear sometimes t5 but that's pretty hard to find and SJ16 (60,000-85,000) also is a lot cheaper compared to AX50 (100,000-120,000) both unmodified or with scope, also AX50 has a really expensive t6 bullet (1,000 per bullet on average) which is pretty useless since players rarely appear with t6 gear, so just use SJ16 or AR30, but AR30 has a low noise suppression wich can reveal your location to enemies.
In summary just use the cheaper one ( SJ16/AR30)both can ONE TAP to the chest from like a mile away as long as you have the right ammo your good.
Note that this was base on my Lockdown Northridge experience.
AR30 is a bit expensive compared to SJ16 costing around 70,000-90,000 on average but it has a better ergonomics and a free 1x-4x scope.Note that sometimes players remove it before selling it but it would cost less, probably 60,000 if your lucky.

Carbines/Marksman is just basically a more newbie friendly sniper and more versatile, honestly as they have more room for error and unlike snipers, it isn't as hard to fight back when fighting in close quarters like m110 which is basically a semi auto fal

The m14 is also a good sniper rifle as it’s pretty cheap and you can get good ammunition for cheap prices. It is also very accurate and reliable but avoid body shots as it isn’t a reliable one shot unless you use t4-t5 ammo. Btw the ammo has to penetrate through lvl 3 armor, or it’s pretty useless

As you can see, a bullet drop like the Ax50 has a 180-meter shooting range, or effective range. If the enemy range is 200+, you need to aim high enough so you can kill the player. Every gun has a shooting range, so you need to calculate that too. I know because I use too much sniper from the beta tester, and I love sniper or carbine. Mostly, I use SKs for the cheapest price, and the return is high. In this game, you need to play with high risk and high reward. But ever since, I'm going to call myself a noob or an average player.

Marksmans, Marksmans Marksmans, theyre good with any ranges and relatively cost-effective if used right, M110 and SVDS is best for sniping, recommended running atleast t4 ammo for M110 and a minimum of t5 ammo for SVDS, no one uses VSS or MK14 for ranges.

Before, I snipe to loot. But now, I snip because the thrill, loot is just 3rd option for entrance fee. I snipe since S1, I love when my hands became shaken, when that happens I automatically/stuck beingalerted for whole game 😂😂 like I have eagle eye tgat even tiny detail I can see like the character's breathing, movement, wrong position of colors (like tree shouldn't have any other color than green and brown), etc.

Well, pretty much the video talks about very basic things and things that don't go to the end.
In my experience, if you want to be a good sniper.
- If you go as a team, always keep your distance and be aware of your surroundings, support your team by notifying where and what enemy is near them.
2. In solo, always take into account the bullet drop and the velocity of your projectiles (except for the AX50) especially the bullet drop, which does exist in the game.
3. Play very well with your environment, wear uniforms that hide them well, and maintain a light and fast loadout.
4. Carry a silencer and if you don't have one, change your position a little with each shot so that you don't get found
5. And finally, all rifles are good (Except for the m24, use the M14 there) just carry good ammo and know where you are going to shoot, where you cover the armor and such, you would be surprised that the Mosin can one shot, with a well-placed shot.

as a sniper in every game, you really need to have a nice trigger discipline, you have to know where to shoot and if there's following shot that can hit, either hs or body.

One important factor you forgot to mention is repostioning. Because, not everyone will hit their shots or have an ax50. So, repostioning is really important after missing your shot or after getting a body shot with the mosin or m24. For example. Today i was playing with the mosin. And, i saw someone. So, i shot him. But, he didnt die. So i repostioned. And, after i was in my new spot. I saw the guy i shot aiming at my previous spot. And i managed to headshot him.

The reason why not many people use ax50 is not because the gun is expensive, it's the damn bullet.
Also most people using .338 won't be using AP but fmj. Still one shot t5 to the chest and price is way cheaper than .50
Fmj ammo does 84 DMG to chest if you shoot t5 if the enemy have lost 1 HP already you can 1 shot t5 with fmj

I'd like to debate on the fact that you said, as a sniper we need high ground but think of this, if an enemy is suspicious that there is a sniper is somewhere and watching him he will always look at the high grounds and take note of your last known position and me as a sniper personally think that being a sniper a good sniper doesn't mean you should be able to quick scope anyone it means to confirm your kill
I'd like to give my friends here a few tips from my experience.
1. Target Acquisition: Find a target. You see a player sprinting towards any location. He is your target, but do not try to hoot him while he is running. Have patience. And this bring me to my next tip.
2. Patience: You do not need to kill an enemy as soon a you see him. Be patient. He will not be sprinting or moving all the time. Eventually he will come to full top. Wait for that moment and go for the headshot.
3. Stalking: The fun in following a target around and him not knowing where you are or the fact that he is being followed is insanely fun. Follow your desired target until you have a clear shot, which is if he is standing sitting or just at a full stop.
4. Don't be greedy: Congratulations, you got a kill. Now wait for a few moments and scan the area. If your target is one tapped you don't know if he is solo or not. Wait for some time and when you see no one is coming only then go for the loot and make sure you can run if you are ambushed.
5. Learn from the loss: Its not a 100% guarantee that you'll come out alive every raid. There will be deaths. But take a breather after every loss and prepare for the next round. The greatest of you is fear and as a sniper you need to be fearless but vigilant.

Or you can do what I did until I got good with sniping. Coming from an actual good sniper use mosin and m24 until you get familiar with the play style. Keep playing those guns until you get a good aim, and aim for the head. After you get good, run t5 and t6 ammo and use m24. Scope is up to you but I always ALWAYS use the 1x4x. It's fixed so u don't waste time zooming, and u got the iron site 1x for close range.
If you use any other bolt action you're at a disadvantage when it comes to aim time.
I can't even tell you how many SJ16 AR30 and AX-50 players I killed just because of that aim time. Just get good and learn to aim. Distance or zoom isn't an issue. If you can't do it, play more and more and more. Yesterday I came against an SJ16 user with AP ammo while I was wearing t4 armor and M24 with M62 bullets. Poor guy regret spending all that cash for the "good rifles"
If you re bored asf and don't even wana bother fixing your aim and playstyle, just play AR / SJ / and AX50. Body shots are easy. But personally I would suggest u put in the time and actually learn how to aim and you'll have fun 400k raids while only spending 30k on an M24. Peace!

I use a mosin with the stock scope to kill a t6 you use a ax50 with 20x scope to kill a t4 we are not the same
(Edit: when using a mosin use 7bti ammo 1 hit on chest :) Ax is nerfed survived 2 shots with a t3 armor)

For me...
I just play too much pubg and codm so I just put my sniping instinct from these 2 games to Ab (small tips that Idk is useful or not : if you really scare missing your shot just shoot their leg and let the teammate(not random) do the rest. If you're in solo, just make sure that your bullet can one shot their helmet or else you fked up)

If you wanna be the predator, you're already outsmarted by the prey. Be the prey and the predator because you'll be on either one. Wanna do the hunt tactic? This are the basics.
First, never stay in one spot because they already predicted your direction. Always loop at 250 meter range. Always remember their location and dead spaces because even the tiniest dead space can cost you everything.
Second, practice your reflexes. Seeing the tiniest movement at 300 meters gives you the advantage.
Third is Patience. Having this type of skill can improve your skills. Seeing one guy and thinking he's the only one? No. you're in a squad, expect a squad. 3 man, expect a dou trio team. Solo run, expect a 3 man, dou, or solo player.
Lastly, know your weapon's capacity. Read every manual regarding ammo range, damage, and penetration. For your rifle, focus on range, ergonomics, accuracy, and horizontal recoil. Never focus on the gucci appearance.
Ambush tactics:
Blend in with your environment. Never go on top a rock coz you're just exposing yourself like your a lump of meat.
Never use heavy equipment. Always use equipment that doesn't interfere with your mobility. You wanna be fast when moving to your next position.
Best advice i can say is always have a plan B. If ever you messed with the wrong team be ready to not become the hunted. Escape, plan, execute and hope you can achieve your goal.
