happy for ryujin for getting the center and lines she deserves, but sad that chaeryoung can't really showcase her skills (no center in dance breaks, getting less front positions in formations - always in the back, and is kind of pushed back in title tracks). she kind of reminds me of chaeyoung from twice, both of them have a main position, are talented in basically everything, are stable and are the group's joker card, yet the company dismisses their talent.

They needed to establish the popular members first before the others, Yeji's the FOTG thus she got her era in the debut, after that they needed to focus on the visual to attract international audience therefore Icy was Yuna's era and after they gained popularity they needed to maintain their popularity and attract Korean audience thus Wannabe was Ryujin's era, if my prediction isn't wrong, the next era will be Lia's because JYP needs to establish ITZY as a vocally talented group and finally Chaeryoung where she will show ITZY's powerful dance line

chaeryeong got last in lines, last in center positions (having only 8s from another vid) and 4th in solo screentime. damn im happy that each era lets a new member shine but having a group of 5 and having a member at the bottom half for everything isnt very nice.
For the line and center I think it mostly because other member suit this comeback better. While for screen time I agree that chaer deserve better like wth with the flying drone chasing her ? That is so lackluster compared to the others members.

With such demanding choreography, I think Yeji did a very good job and she really deserves it! But I have to admit that Ryujin really catches my eyes throughout the whole song!!! This is a pretty fair distribution considering how little lines Chaeryeong and Ryujin had from Dalla Dalla and Icy, but I feel they should’ve had Chaeryeong in the center instead of Yuna because Yuna was in the center mostly for ICY 🥺
Yuna was in the center at most parts because if not, she will be in the center like 10s, like Chaeryeong. This is for that Chae should be in the center for the dance break, it would be fair and logic.

For those who are saying Chaeryeong is underrated. she was given her time to shine during ICY she has many scenes in their MV her face was shown first she got solo dances and dance break at the street she also sing the first line and the chorus and she is 3rd in center distribution. While ryujin has lesser lines and her scene was only in the office applying job.

She wasn't given her time to shine in ICY. In ICY, she had the 2nd least lines with being too close to Ryujin, they almost had the same time, and she had the 3rd center time WITH still being too close to Ryujin, like she only had 3 seconds more, since the center time and lines were that closely distributed between Ryujin and her, do you really think that mattered, and it gave Chaeryeong THE TIME TO SHINE? NO. You can't deny the fact that Chaeryeong needs more center time because she always had the less lines in EVERY SONG already, she barely gets to be the center even though she's literally the MAIN DANCER, and like I said, the center time distribution was too close in ICY, while in Wannabe, Chaeryeong has the least center time and she's not even close to any of the members, it's really an exaggerated gap, plus she has the least lines too. That's why people are reacting, and they have the right. And I wouldn't call it ''being underrated'', it's being mistreated.
You should be really over-biased to make that comment. Care about Chaeryeong for one damn sec too and be sensible.

i wish in their next cb they sing altogether during the chorus like red velvet does a lot of the times so that ryujin and yuna can get their extra center time from there so that the dance break centers are given to chaeryeong and yeji. it helps even out line distributions too.

But Lia's voice kinda doesn't suit in this kind of concepts, or maybe in just some of the parts. The producers gave it to Yeji because she have a stronger vocal and it really fits in this kind of concepts
Producers have reasons why they put this kind of line distribution to the girls, we know nothing on what or how they are doing the process of making ITZY's songs, their priority is to make the song better, so it's not either JYP or the Producers to be blame, it just how it works
Lia's voice suits the Dalla Dalla and ICY concepts, or something like ICY concepts, it's not that badass and it's not that soft, that it fits Lia's vocal so well, and she really shines in ICY era for me
(Just Imagine hearing a different style of Dalla Dalla, ICY, and WANNABE being sang with a different member and not the one who they assigned, the songs came out nicely with the assigned members, and they are giving us a BOP songs and beautiful Comebacks, why complaining on the line distribution, let's just appreciate the members and give them lots of support, they just debut a year ago, there's a lot to improved and wait yet, dont be Impatient guys♥)

But Yeji has too many. She is 1st in DD, ICY, and Wannabe in terms of lines. She is always on the center, knowing that RYUJIN is the main CENTER. She always on center when a dance break comes on all 3 title tracks. Those other two dance breaks should have been Chaer's or Yuna's.
If Lia and chaeryoung doesn't fit in, in this song, why couldn't they just make a song that fits others so that they can shine.
