I thought they were cute from the beginning but I was surprised by how much I genuinely loved them by the end. Even though Joo Da had her doubts about him when she became self aware and wanted to rebel against the predetermined story, she chose Nam Joo, the designated love interest, in the end. I love what Joo Da says about how she wanted to enjoy a happy ending after suffering so much and how Nam Joo couldn't be happy without her. Nam Joo is the only main character in the show who never becomes fully self aware and I think there's a reason for that. His character exists to love Joo Da, he literally revolves around her. I really like the way this show addresses common kdrama tropes. That being said, I loved Dowha too and I would love to see Joo Da and Dowha together in the next life/story💖💖
Hum, Num Joo is really a very innocent character, nothing like the real BOF troops. I really like him. But at that time, I did wanted Joo da to end up with Do hwa but also thought ya Num Joo is too innocent and can't really live without Joo da. But did she really had to say it to Do Hwa's face! That teared me up the most! Do Hwa's love was genuine too, it was good of him to take care of his emotions and I like him for that. She could have said she can't live without Num Joo and he would have understood. But she as good as told him that you didn't strive more! It just hurt so badly!

I so much love love their interesting story and acting.... But to end it all, they all deserve a good attention...all the characters are very special in different ways...
