This is a great onboard video from the practice sessions of the Rotax Grand Finals DD2 at NOLA motorsports park. Filippos managed some impressive lap times in this session, just behind the top lap time of Ben Cooper and the second of Xen de Ruwe.

Impressive, really good driving skills, I know what it takes. I wish I drove that quick so constantly.
scrubbing reduces mid corner towards the end, nice practice.
impressive to ride that close at those speeds...that's the different between a.....and a....
He looks quick
great!
What's the delay I sometimes hear when upshifting?
Isn't the gear change consistent?
The KZ karts have that advantage of exploding out of every slow corner regardless of speed with the right gear selection.
But if this is more reliable it is a better choice for a hobbyist I guess.
DD2 and KZ3 are preety much the same, same top speed, DD2 have the advantage of a shorter gear ratio (Obviously you can change it) so in a track with long straights DD2 prevails. KZ3 better acceleration, KZ3 is more fun and all, but you steer with one hand and shift with the other. Both are adenaline rushing.
I knew there was a reason to run positive camber
This engine has only 2 gears right?
Yes is a dd2 rotax, middle between KZ and rotax max, is very good and funny Karting!
why is he driving a CRG Chassis but wear a Tony Overall?
Everyone in the Grand Finals drives the same chassis. It's a common practice however in the free-practice sessions to wear the suits that they use back home. He's was a Tony Kart driver at the moment.
ok thanks!:)
Needs work on breaking but good
