Jenkins is not third eye blind ? I miss cadogen as much as anyone and true they were never the same after he left but cadogens solo music is not great and his 3eb covers scream for Jenkins to make them good.
I agree the combo of Kevin and Stephen was MAGIC but honestly OOTV with Tony was pretty great, Dopamine was awesome, We Are Drugs is awesome - plenty of good music post Kevin. Meanwhile, Kevin most notable contributions since the self titled were playing the same songs with XEB and dismal solo tracks. No doubt he's an unreal guitarist but idc what anyone says, Stephen and Brad are and always have been the backbone of 3EB
I thought that cadogen was magic I love him...when he left and ferdenelli took over I don't feel like the 3eb sound suffered much because he was one of those guitarist who uses alot of obscure tunings just like cadogen...this new guy...I mean he does the old songs justice with his playing but can't seems to create anything that sounds like prior third eye blind. that bums me out. I didn't think dopamine or we are drugs were great albums ..our bande apart is a pretty decent album but just not the same instrument wise.
He has been successful with 3 different guitarists. He’s obviously the most important piece. Plus he’s learned a lot and has a really good band that’s incredibly successful now!

I don't know, Jenkins guitarist's he finds for the latest albums kick ass and they sound the same as the original. Makes me think it's Jenkins

He must know deep down the original lineup was the magic. He's the biggest part, but it was a sum greater than the parts kind of band for sure!
