She was furloughed in the beginning of March 2020 and we thought we were screwed but by the end of that year we actually moved into our first house and my garage is now bigger than the apartment we lived in for 10 years 🤣 You never know what can happen! I’m an ultrasound tech and there is no known harm to the baby for having ultrasounds so you should totally do it! Babies look best on 3D/4D the further along they are when they have a little bit more skin an fat on them so it’s best to wait until at least 30 weeks🙂

My mom always say: respect God's timing.. a few years ago i was trying to get into med school and i couldn't get in.. waited almost 3 years, my grandma ended up passing away during covid and i just gave up (on life).. so i moved with my family to a rural city and i fell in love with the animals here and they helped me so much.. i ended up deciding to try vet school and i couldn't be happier hahhaha and just a week ago i found out i got in med school.. but won't be going.. bc i just know now that becoming a vet is my destiny and i just know that god has a time and a motive for everything! Im so happy u guys found a house 🥳🥳 i follow Kristen on Instagram and i was so worried and praying a lot that god would clear the path for u guys to find the perfect place home to raise your baby boy!!

I almost cried for you guys! My husband and I were in your exact same situation last summer. I was 7months pregnant, we had to move back in with my husbands parents (thankful that was an option) because we had already moved out of our apartment, the closing process because of covid and our lender literally took months! We put the offer in on April 9th, 2020 and didn’t close until July 6th. I’m so happy for you both!! Buying a house can be fun and we’re all so thankful to be able to but it can also be very stressful. Yayy for a new home, baby boy and all the new memories to come💙

I am 18 weeks now and I had a 4D ultrasound at a place other than my doctor. It was 15 mins of a combo of 2D & 4D. I wasn’t a big fan of the 4D. I thought it felt weird, the doppler got much warmer & I could feel a weird pulsing sensation on my belly from the waves. The baby also looked like a little gremlin 🤣 I would suggest doing it now that you’re in third tri & you’ll be able to see baby’s features more clearly than when I had mine done at 15 weeks. I wouldn’t suggest doing it early on like I did. I would also only do it once to limit exposure. I did it because I was trying to find out gender before I announced I was pregnant. But it is definitely the Mom’s choice to make! You do whatever feels right for you and baby! ❤️

Yes yes yes to the 4D ultrasound! It was my favorite experience! We bought a DVD package with video! Such a cool thing to look back on, especially for your first baby! It’s SO insanely cool to see them doing thing in your womb 😱 highly recommend ASAP! I think once you get to a certain point in your pregnancy the back is too squished to get a good picture!

Definitely go for a 4D scan, it was one of the highlights of my pregnancy! But I could definitely understand why they suggest you limit your exposure to them, because the ultrasound ward felt very warm on my belly, but I think just doing it once in your pregnancy is fine. It was so special, unforgettable actually to see my daughters face for the first time! And you really get to see their little features, and do stuff in there! It’s amazing!

As a medical student, you don't need to be worried about ultrasounds. Ultrasounds are non-ionizing so you don't need to 'limit' your exposure to them as you would for X-rays, CT scans or MRI's etc. However, if you're concerned about it not being performed by a doctor then you take that with your own discretion but sonographers (ultrasound technologists) are trained medical professionals.

So we got a baby hiking backpack off FB marketplace for $175 when the original is $300, you guys hit the jackpot with that thing! We absolutely love it, it took a couple times for our almost one year old to like it but now she is so happy in it and we love hiking with her. You guys will be such adventurous parents :) Also congrats on the house!!! ❤️

We finally got accepted for a home 20 days ago, just as we are ready to close, the seller back outs :( so no house again. a week passes and we put in another offer for a house, we got the call today that we have been accepted! I completely understand what you two have been going through! my husband and I were in the same boat looking for a home in CA since Jan. We finally got accepted for a home 20 days ago, just as we are ready to close, the seller back outs :( so no house again. a week passes and we put in another offer for a house, we got the call today that we have been accepted! God is good and works out in perfect timing. Congrats you guys :)
