I worked with candy of the Mary Jane Girls in an insurance office in the 90s. She was the sweetest person you never want to meet and she had some really wild Rick James stories and she said that she was really sad when how he ended up. I guess this was a period when he was out of jail because she talked about how he wanted to get together with him once again before he went back to jail. But she was a really sweet person and she treasured the rest of the Mary Jane Girls and Rick James very much

I love this song and music video! If anyone needs an example of the most perfect 80s synth and imagery, I would suggest they watch this video. The girls are beautiful. I love their hair, makeup and outfits. Those satin sheets, the neon, awesome looking house, everything about this is so great. I love this song and music video! If anyone needs an example of the most perfect 80s synth and imagery, I would suggest they watch this video. The girls are beautiful. I love their hair, makeup and outfits. Those satin sheets, the neon, awesome looking house, everything about this is so great. I was born is the early 70s, so had the great fortune of living through every year of the 80s. I miss that time, and feel like I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have at the time.
