    Table cloth I’ll try but since you pulled so much to the front you can box the corners unless you want to keep the sides hanging like that you do good work

    Wow very beautiful! I thought it was a linen tablecloth. How many bags of petals did you use?

    • @karemmena8582
      @karemmena8582 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nathalie Baker thank you for watching. I used 1 bag of petals from Dollar Tree (pink petals from the wedding section) on the front side. If you want petals on the side, you need to get 1 or 2 packs more. It really depends on how full you’d like it to look.

      Sorry I am replying so late. I use a bag of petals for the front of the table cloth. You might need a couple more if you want to do the sides. Thank you for watching.

    I love your creations. I see you used plastic tablecloths can you reuse them? I know using linen or some type of material would be best but i'm frugal. 😄

      @diykarem  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dawn. Yes you could reuse the plastic tablecloths but It won't last as long as fabric. You could make one with real fabric (thrift store) and use fabric glue on the petals. Hope it helped. Thank you.♥

      Hi, The table diy I used 1 pack (for the front only) of petals from Dollar Tree. The 1st backdrop (petals around the giftwrap paper) 1 pack. The 2nd backdrop I might have used 2 1/2 - 3 packs of petals. Thank you for watching.

    Love this idea. Just wondering how come you didn't use a piece of fabric so you could reuse these items.

      kharlie22 Hi! I agree, it would be better with a fabric table cloth and use fabric glue. I just ended up with the plastic cover ( since it’s not so common). Thank you so much for watching.

    How did you hang the curtains to the wall? I need to do a backdrop for a table but don't have a backdrop stand.

    • @diykarem
      @diykarem  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello. I placed the backdrop behind my curtain, leaning against my sliding glass door. If you don’t have that option nor do you have a stand, maybe you could place very light sheer curtains to the backdrop. Use a Dollar Tree curtain rod (the white expandable) and attach to the top corners of the backdrop with duct tape or command strips. Then place the light curtain. I thinks it will hold if curtain is pretty light. I hope this helps. I am about to make a backdrop stand out of wood. Hopefully I finish it soon in case it helps you for your event. Thanks for watching. 😁

    Very pretty, but those petals can get expensive. Better off getting wholesale rose petals.

    Pls what glue can be used apart from using the glue gun

    • @diykarem
      @diykarem  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. You might try the Double-sided sticky tape from Dollar Tree (it won’t be as sticky as the low temp glue). Maybe try Glue Dots. Sewing them like buttons would work too but would be even more time consuming.
      I hope I was able to help. Thank you for your support. 🥰❤️❤️

    How long did this project take you?

    • @diykarem
      @diykarem  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stayce. The project took a few hours. I would work on a table, then place it on the wall, so you don't get an achy back.:) Thanks for watching.

      Beautiful! Would type of fabric would you recommend? I have been wanting something like this but linen like that is VERY expensive. Thanks for sharing.

    • @diykarem
      @diykarem  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can get a tablecloth on sale or the thrift stores are a good place to look for fabric. You could even use bed sheets. You can use pretty much any kind of fabric for this DIY.♥
