No, if u haven't watched the first two parts of these live action short films u'll know Paimon isn't Wei...Wei was actually a guy who got hit by lightning and got isekai'd as the Unusual Hilichurl Wei.
Upon waking up, Paimon appeared in front of him. Shocked he ended up punching Paimon into the ocean. Each time he dies he immediately gets revived and Paimon comes to check on him only to get punched into the ocean again.
Btw i should mention, each time he dies his stats increase as well as when he levels up...Why Wei is friendlies with the playable characters started with the first Hilichurl short film.
2nd short film was more about Wei and Paimon's misfortunes, and this vid is the 3rd short film.

In CN, the traveler referred Ganyu as "Wang Xiao Mei" if players chose the option for forgetting her name while in EN, traveler referred her as "Yangu".
If im not wrong, "Wang Xiao Mei" is also a commonly used name especially in China's education textbook

It's so beautiful. And xiao especially. I main him and i absolutely love his character in general, and to see he's one of the main characters we see in almost every scene really makes me feel so at ease. BrO. The lengths i would go to to live in a world like this
