We have a new video coming out this month with an updated tutorial on how to set up your Facebook page (including adding a cover photo), so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it!
I'm using the app and would it be good to advertise two businesses in one? Like the left has what I'm selling online and the right has the services I offer? But I need this for my personal Facebook cover
We always recommend having separate pages (and therefore cover photos) for separate businesses! But if it's just for your personal account, I guess there's less harm in putting both in one.
Do you have a video showing how to start with a blank space? I would like to have a cover photo with a transparent background and then drag photos of my dogs onto it.
Why didn't you use the Canva template for making Facebook covers? Is it the case that their template does not work properly? If that is so, its a pretty damning inditement of Canva for providing something that people should not use.
Although canva’s templates for covers are just fine as is, setting up the “safe zone” the way we did in this video will ensure that our final output is optimized for both browser and app viewing. This is especially important for businesses as there can be vital information within the design that shouldn’t go beyond the bleed line.
Hey there! Canva has a new feature called Image upscaler that you can use for images that are a bit blurry/low res, but if the whole cover itself doesn't look too sharp, you can simply download the image at 2x option and this helps with making it look sharper.
Hey there! I checked for both app and browser version for ipad and neither of them show element dimensions when dragged to resize using your finger BUT if you connect a magic/bluetooth mouse to the device and use it to drag and resize, the dimensions show like they normally do for both ipad app and browser.
Doubling the canvas size when you download the cover design can help with resolution quality! To do this, click on the share button, download, set the download option to jpg and double the size to x2 before hitting the download button. Let us know if you have any further questions!
It's best to download it as at least 2x the size. Canva will let you download up to 3x the design's actual dimensions, this will make sure it's not pixelated while keeping the proportions.

Good
I can't get my numbers to show my height and width after clicking my ruler. I have ipad 9th gen

Does any one know why my page banner is on the left in desktop mode, not across top of page?
Try following this link: tips.slaw.ca/2013/technology/reposition-photos-on-your-facebook-timeline/
Can I use my own photo for template?
Yes you can upload your own photos to drag and drop into existing Canva templates!
once posted to facebook the image is blurry. any fix for that
?

Super
Thanks! Make sure you subscribe if you haven't already :)
thanks madam
You’re welcome 😊
I don't even HAVE that on my Canva! 😮
Do you have the paid or unpaid version of Canva?
❤❤❤
820x360 is so bad quality. Your FB page photo would be full of pixel's...
It's best to download it as at least 2x the size. Canva will let you download up to 3x the design's actual dimensions, this will make sure it's not pixelated while keeping the proportions.
I m not satisfied your tutorial.
We're sorry to hear that! What could we do better for next time?
