It's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I'm guided by Evelyn Vera. for years and highly recommend her I focus on her. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.

5 years ago I moved away from my hometown and attended a ministry school at age 20, I never wanted to be a pastor but all communication with the Lord was pointing me in that direction. I learned his voice and grew deeper than ever before with Him. I unfortunately failed and re-attended 3 times, I thought I had given the Lord my yes but in the end my actions did not follow. I’m now moving back in with my recently divorced mother and I have little hope for my future, I wanted so badly to change the life of others but I couldn’t even change my own, if you read this please pray for my heart to be soft again.
You say you learned His voice and grew deeper with Him than ever. That is Success. Earthly schools and their metrics do not mark success or failure. It seems to me you accomplished what the Lord wanted you to do and what your soul path was. Do not look at earthly interpretations of failure. The Lord's agenda is deeper and more subtle yet the Real one. Perhaps the Lord wants less pastors with paper degrees and dry doctrine in theory and more people with pastoring spirits who have learnt how to keep open hearts through anything. Consider how you will take what you learnt - the deeper relationship with the Lord - forward. Dont let earthly visions fool you. If you gained a closer relationship with God, that is Everything. Continue with that success as your first priority. It can never lead you wrong. Ask God to show you the way. If you still hear and feel Pastoring on your heart, then ask God in due time how you are meant to do that and what pastoral duties or ministry means for you in His eyes. It might mean sharing what you know about finding a deeper relationship with Him and hearing His Voice in some way in time. Most importantly first do not let how it seems on earth to cloud your vision about how it really is in Heaven. If you feel closer to God, you succeeded. Just keep in that and keep asking for His next steps. Let God be your Pastoral school. If you followed God, You have not failed. Look at what you succeeded in during this time because that was always His plan. Many blessings for your open heart.
You are incredibly Blessed to move back in with your Mother. Serve her and listen alot. Find out what God has for her, and believe it or not, that may be where God has you now. Your Mom knows you.
