Magic Square uses vinyl plastics which actually for figures this small and complex is a perfect choice. It's strong, durable and flexible. Too many collectors have it in their heads that ABS and diecast are the ONLY acceptable materials to be used and it's based on straight up ignorance. I have a large portion of Magic Square's catalogue...you know many breaks I've had? Zero...because vinyl is a superior material in this instance of legends scale figures. Source: I've worked in a similar type of collectable manufacturing as toys for 25 years.
That doesn't change my opinion on the feel of the figure, the fact remains that it feels inferior and in some cases can look dull when it's unpainted. ms-02EX is a good example of how they could use the same materials but give a premium feel simply by adding paint.
@@TMReviews your "feels inferior" is based on your lack of understanding and just goes to show that most reviewers don't know what they're talking about when it comes to materials. If you don't like the material...I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise. However, it just shows your own ignorance. Like I said...25 years in a similar industry. It's like trying disparage carbon fiber in the car industry 30 years ago.
Never leaves my backpack because I play with him at work and in my car and transform him constantly! Love how similar the transformation is to MP47 houndwhich is my favorite MP
Usually magic square has overly complex transformations while new age are intuitive. With hound it’s opposite. Detective is pretty straightforward. New age hound is a nightmare.
The A series versions of the Magic Square offerings (like ms-b31A) I think are much better. I don't know if any re-engineering was done but they look much improved.
I'm trying to assemble a collection of transforming military vehicles that scale with one another. Could you please help me by telling me the length of this figure's Jeep mode?
He looks really good. Thanks Sony

Yeah, best hound to date, too bad they released painted version afterwards
@@TMReviews yeah I don’t like the more toy deco so would be cool to get a painted toon version
Looks good.. cool figure. Great Review ✨️ 😃
Love this mold, especially the second release that's darker and has more paint.
Same here, i think it might be the best hound available
I need a massively over size ko of this.

I returned it to the owner, sorry I can't measure it
