We should have a book club for people who don't consistently check in with one another.
@@OpioidSlumber lol absolutely same. I spend too much money and time on each of my 150 different hobbies. My apartment is too small for my scattered brain and its collections. A tMG book group would be a cool idea, especially with sporadic discussions of random titles. Delightful!

JD, have you read any books by Orhan Pamuk, the Turkish writer who was prosecuted for speaking up on behalf of the Kurds and the Armenians? The charges were dropped eventually--although his life was threatened. He later won the Nobel Peace Prize, which he richly deserved. I agree with this idea. I also get fixated on reading. I'm neurodivergent so it can become problematic at times lol.
