The screws holding the power valve linkages together were forever coming lose on mine back in the day even loctited together. How do you solve this or has it nver ocurred to you?
Another great in depth video, I'm doing my kr1s up this winter. I took a look at the link you put on for your crankshaft, I see the company do cylinder sleeves for the kr1s. What are your thoughts on a sleeve instead of a replated cylinder? 👍👍👍
I’m glad you like the videos, I prefer a nickelsil lined cylinders as the clearance is better controlled. I don’t know what you would gain from a steel lined bore unless you were going oversize.

Why did you install the KIPS valves without any lubrication (2T oil)?
The pockets on the barrels were pre oiled but that didn’t make the edit..
