Nate's energy seems more negative lately. If things are super hectic and busy I think it's alright to take a break from the podcast. The show is best when y'all are having fun and bantering. This means Aaron needs to push back on Nate and stop saying "that's fair" all the time. He's wrong ALOT (but really all of you are)😂
Nate saying he’s not a maniac as he is ranting like a maniac is priceless. He was so wrapped up in his rant that he didn’t even realize Aaron was making fun of him when he said, “Is part of you jealous of that joy they still have….that they’re not jaded?” That was comedy gold and yet Nate just kept ranting. Brian deserves an apology and Nate you should thank Breakfast for putting up with you despite your idiosyncrasies.
To sum up the 45 minute rant: Bates travels differently than Nate, due to lack of traveling at all, compared to Nate who travels full time and has for a long time. Bates probably approaches an airport like 99% of the population, but since he doesn’t do it the way Nate does it, he sucks and is worse than having to lug around multiple children while traveling. And yes you’re that bad because Nate says so. #IStandWithBreakfast
I love this podcast so much, but the end made me so uncomfortable. Even if you are just joking, it didn’t feel like it and really just made me feel bad for Brian. Please apologize to him in person and even on the next show…heck, buy him a Taco Bell membership!!!
I couldn’t finish this episode! It hurts to hear the animosity from Noodle. He is a great comedian. He’s worked hard and is now successful. Great for him and for us! I’ve always been a bit uncomfortable with the way he treats Brian, but it seems like they’re friends in real life, so hopefully there’s more to it than Brian playing the punching bag for him. But man, if you’re generous with your friends and then you throw that in their face the moment they have a mild critique of you, that’s pretty low. First class treatment with some strings attached. I hope Nate was just having a bad day… we all have them. But a bit more discretion in the editing room and an apology to Brian if you actually value his friendship and contributions would be great.
I agree with Nate that traveling with people who aren’t used to traveling as much as you can be so frustrating. But at a certain point, he was beating a dead horse by continuing to rant about it.
Moral of this episode: never, under any circumstance tell Nate he is difficult. He’ll show you difficult. I thought at any second he was going to come after B. Bates’ mom, sister, and grandma. Yikes. Additionally, Mr. Travel, since you do travel every second of your life, it would follow that you would be more familiar with what your suitcase looks like, compared to the average traveler of once or twice a year who is likely less familiar with what their suitcase looks like and may benefit from tying something on it that will stand out.
Nathanial, Aaronnicus, and Bisquick…the way y’all COULD NOT get a handle on the fish vs fisherman metaphor was spot on for this podcast. The point of “give a man a fish vs teach a man to fish”, is that this man is either dependent on others for his sustenance or he has the ability himself to go get his own sustenance. None of you figured it out. Even getting a job at Taco Bell is still him being dependent on someone else for his survival. Teaching him how to make himself some tacos would’ve been the answer. Y’all are all adorable. Love it!!
You know I love this podcast, and appreciate how you guys put one out each week. But if y'all need some time off to reset, I think that's totally fine. Everyone in the comments has been saying this, but the last few episodes have sounded a bit forced or snappy at times. I loved the early episodes of this podcast because there was no crazy expectation. It was just there to be funny. I felt like even when you guys made fun of each other, it was done with love. Lately it's been a bit mean spirited. Still love this podcast and all of you guys! Let's go folks.👍
Sorry Nate, but you did not sound like the greatest average American berating Bates over his lack of flying experience. The average American does not fly every weekend. You vehemently retort that you fly him first class and cover all his expenses and this makes you feel entitled to treat him so poorly. Out of touch, man.
That rant at the end by Nate didnt belong on the podcast, especially a comedy podcast. That should have been discussed in private. Pretty unfair on Breakfast, and Aaron didnt really help by laughing. We come here for laughs and silliness guys, remember that.

The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......
Folk since day one here, and I find that the simpler the subject matter is; the funnier the episode is. Not much beats listening to Brick read fun facts about mundane topics and Nate squirming and breaking them down while Aaron laughs and wonders where corn comes from.
Regional differences? Sheesh. This episode was like the Assistant to the Regional Manager of podcasts. I thought it would be harder to do a lamer episode than the last, but boy was I wrong. I am just thankful you found a topic and stuck to it for 3 seconds instead of just deciding to do whatever. Also, can we revoke Nate's title of the nicest guy in comedy? Or at least add an addendum- *except while traveling with idiots. Brian, your one-liner was gold! Nate definitely proved your point.
Ok so just so I understand correctly. Nate is saying everyone relax, try to choose the path of the least resistance. Avoid the drama. UNTIL, it’s the path of Nate’s resistance! Everyone around him will suffer!! 🤣🤣
Did anyone else feel like hugging Beelzebub when Nate got onto him about his early days of airline travel? Like when mom and dad were fighting and you knew dad was right, but he was being way too harsh about it. I just wanted to put my head down and yell "Daddy please be nice to mommy!".
Love the podcast, but this is the ONLY episode so far where I went "Yeah, I won't be re-listenihg to this one". I have no problem believing Nate does more for his openers than the average guy but that tirade about how bad Bates is to travel with and how he should be more grateful made me UNCOMFORTABLE.
I don't think so. Just a disagreement between friends. It probably hurt to hear that Brian thought he was difficult, when he pays for everything. I can understand that feeling. Then, like he said, he was a travel routine and he doesn't want to babysit Bryan. I see both sides
@@rellenoz I don't think that Nate was out of line for feeling that way or for expressing his frustration. But that's a conversation to be had in PRIVATE.
Aaron not knowing that houses use well’s for water was unreal. He thought branflakes had to walk out and crank water out of a well like he’s in a biblical parable
Well, reading these comments I had to skip to the end of the podcast to see what happened! Nate…chill!! I watched you get more and more worked up over travel, to the point you took it out on Brian. A true bully. Be careful your head doesn’t get too big for all those free hats… I see I’m not alone in these comments…I’ll listen next week to hear which ones you read 🙄 although I’m sure it won’t be mine!
I’ve loved this podcast up until now. Made it to 83z I’ve been able to tolerate Aaron’s hubris thanks to Nate and Brian being so great and funny and the great guests. But the look at everything I do for you how dare you criticize me rant when Brian said Nate was difficult to travel with. Friends or not sounded so mean.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. This podcast has provided so much joy and laughter, so I will give Nate a mulligan on this mean rant- but he better keep those mean rants in check. That was like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Nate can dish it out but can’t really take it… for all the things he has said about Aaron and Brazier, “you’re difficult to travel with” really struck a chord. So he resorted to belittling his friend and using his generosity as a weapon against him… pretty gross! I’d rather drive alone then fly free in first class if it was only going to be used against me! Love you guys, I’ve listened to every episode 2-3 times. But the ending of this was disappointing, and never should have made it on air. Let’s get back to the fun!
I just hope they don’t come back and try to say they were just kidding…because it clearly wasn’t very funny! I’d say leave that part out of your awesome stand-up routines!!
@@jeannineashcraft5281 right! I don’t want a lame excuse of, “this is just what comedians do…” I have no problem with them all giving each other a hard time but this was something different
Nate talking about how the main problem with the whole world is assuming you are smart and everyone else is dumb, and then ranting for a half hour about being so smart about flying and Brian being so dumb 🤷
Life hack lesson: Never fly with Nate! That was brutal. Watching Baltimora get crapped on for 20 minutes was just too awkward. Love the podcast, but maybe avoid asking Nate anything in regards to travel on future episodes.
You must have the greatest salesman on the planet selling ad space for your podcast. Signing Babbel to allow you guys to advertise their products that teach additional languages is one of the greatest accomplishments of 2022. Also I got a kick out of another ad you read for a product claiming their product is all you need to stay healthy. No other pills needed. Then their perk to sign up is a years supply of another pill to take. Really enjoy the podcast.
Getting jokes does make you feel smart. As a young teacher In 2014, I watched Last Comic Standing. I got every joke. I was old enough for the older references and young enough for newer references. I thought I had arrived and would always just "get it" for the rest of my life! Weeks later my students started to say "bae" in reference to their significant other. This confused me, and I realized I had passed into being old. Regrettably, it has been downhill ever since. I'll go proofread this now.
Bates gave me my biggest laugh at one of his jokes this episode. I love messing with people so his desire to mess with Canadians one more week pronouncing toque “too - k” gave me a really good chuckle. Thanks Bingham.
This was a tough episode to watch at the end. It’s a little like siblings who’ve spent too much time together. Nate might’ve needed a nap, Brian definitely needed a hug.

Guys, I'm totally with Nate on how to travel. I'm all about traveling with efficiency and awareness and I think more people should, but dang, Breakfast got pummeled this week. I feel like there might need to be a friendship therapy session after that one. I don't know, but even with the tension I was still cringe laughing my way through it! Love you guys, keep it up!
Balderdash asked Nate for life hacks, and Nate ended up ranting and complaining about airports, airplanes, and traveling in general for almost 30 minutes. You can tell he’s an absolute charm to fly with.
Whew, that last half hour was rough to listen to. We love you Bitcoin! For the lifehacks episode I hope Nate doesn't soapbox on his preferred method for everything. None of his "lifehacks" were implementable for the standard person except standing at the end of the luggage carousel. Always interesting what odd topic sparks a 30-minute rant that degrades one of your best friends.
@@reneepoche15 They’ve always had some quarreling in the beginning of this podcast… was cringe when Brian one time put Nate down for not having a college degree… everyone’s got their own insecurities but some have not quite faced them. They all just need to take a step back and reflect on the good.
Nate in the next episode if any of the comments of his rant against Brian get read : "well we're comics and it's all fun" and then he'll rant about it for a good 20 minutes
Hey Brian awesome show as always! You had me in stitches. Love your stuff. But what’s the deal with ol Nacho these days…? He seems kinda chippy lately. I know it’s “his” show and all but if he keeps this up I don’t see Nateland lasting much longer than Taco Bell lasted in my stomach.
Hello ! I don’t ever really comment on TH-cam videos but for some reason I felt the need to. I like watching the podcast it’s very chill and funny, but on this one I think Nate might of been a little harsh with Brian , and he needs to apologize. Not trying to tell you what to do but just saying. Maybe not such a good idea to go that hard on him and mostly not in public on the podcast . Idk 🤷🏻♀️ I just thought I’d say that . ……. I think Nate needs a vacation, he has been very snappy lately . Don’t take it out on your friends .
As a medical professional I have stood idly by long enough and can’t take it anymore. I am officially putting in my application for Natelands personal on-call medical expert. I will gladly explain things like the definition of blood pressure. You are more than welcome to call me even while on air. I patiently await your phone calls.
Well there you have it folks, Nate is that “friend” the one who throws his good deed back in your face. He sure can dish it out but can’t handle it when it’s handed back to him.I would rather hear the f bomb on hear, then listen to Nate belittle and disrespect a friend.
Nate: the problem with the world is that everyone thinks they are smarter than everyone else. Maybe just try and consider that someone else is as smart or smarter than you. Also Nate: Brian is an idiot that doesn’t know how to travel and should be grateful I’m so famous so he can ride my coattails into first class.
I love that Nate says assume everyone is smarter than you & then almost immediately says he doesn't think people can figure out he's talking about a specific kind of shoe when he says "tennis shoe." Also the garage sale & yard sale debate has a simple answer. It depends on where the sale is. If it's in your yard then it's a yard sale & if it's out of your garage then it's a garage sale. I guess if it's both then you can pick or interchange the terms. And as for the beanie vs toboggan debate, the difference is the beanie doesn't have a part to flip up based on its length & is usually thinner material. A toboggan is usually thicker material & is long enough to flip the bottom part over. Keep up the great work! Thanks for making Wednesdays more enjoyable!
Nate went from the nicest guy in comedy, to not even the nicest guy in the room! This isn’t the first time he’s done this to Brian either, but I hope it’s the last!
I had such a high opinion of Nate and his character until he berated Worried Burger there at the end. There was nothing comedic about it. It was mean spirited and rude. It was so disappointing to hear Nate sound so high and mighty. I really hope he apologizes next week. A true apology, not a snarky one. I just wanted to give Brian a hug!
Nate, I've watched you for years and I remember when Full Time Magic came out. I loved both of your Netflix specials and I was ecstatic to find out you had your own podcast (heard you on Tom and Christina's podcast a few months back). I've been listening and watching as much as possible from episode 1, and waiting patiently to comment until I was caught up. It was absolutely worth it! My 9 year old son, Riker, has been there for a lot of episodes too, and he also loves your stand up. In fact, our New Year's Eve festivities included some of our favorite things- pizza, candy, soda, video games, and a couple Nateland Podcasts! Thank you Nate, Aaron, and Banjo Banana for giving me and my son so much comedy that we can enjoy together. We will see you at your matinee this Saturday here in St. Louis! P.S. Congrats to Brian on his baby breakfast!
Hey Nate, Bentley, Aaron, much love and thanks to all y’all. Long time commenter here, first time listener. Love this podcast, it’s like “ask the experts” but without the hassle of experts. I wonder if Miriam asked Webster one day while they were just looking up at clouds or stars, “bruh, what if we wrote down all the words?” “Like even Canadian words like Toque?” “I guess so, but let’s not worry too much about pronunciation, we do have to make it to W and so on”. In all seriousness, Nateland is my favorite podcast of all time, so far, even if I have forgotten to pronounce some words i used to know by listening. So, thank you, and I expect better in the future.
This rant on Boysenberry made me take a break from my morning ritual of listening to an episode of Nateland this past week. It was rough. Hopefully everything is okay and Nate had a better few days. Looking forward to a fresh take tomorrow. Oh yeah, and Aaron.
Last week’s episode should be called the Bizarro Nateland episode. Like The Bizzaro Jerry episode of Seinfeld, one of those is enough. SO glad we’re back to the old format!
Hi! I’ve been working my 3rd job doing delivery for DoorDash, and listened to all the episodes from beginning to current while I’m driving. It adds a lot of laughs to my day! I love your insights and perspective because it comes from a pretty grounded place overall. Driving has me more road rage-y than I’d ever thought possible. I’d love to know your take on road rage and if you have practices when your driving on how not to be annoyed with other drivers. I’m big fan of the podcast. I love the banter. I’m also going to the show in my town, Redding, ca in March. I would love to see Brian and Aaron come to my town as well! Hint hint!! Y’all stay blessed! Love the show!
I am from Indiana, but the church I grew up in had a lot of people from the south. I heard a lot of people say “warsh”, and it actually ruined a prayer for me. The pastor would routinely pray, saying “Lord, we come to worship You today.” I couldn’t help but hear it as “Lord, we come to Warsh a Pew today.” I always picture everyone with a bucket of soapy water cleaning the seats!
I'm pretty sure the way Brian is just staring at nate during the whole plane seat rant following his ripping Brian for being late for that flight is a sign that he took that one to heart a bit. He has kinda "embarrassed mad mom" eyes with his eyebrows up and just staring at him.
"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian" I'll shall henceforth only refer to Breakfast as Brian...#WithBreakfastWeStand
I am also an avid Aaronland listener (same age) but I also came up in the restaurant industry. I would get a check that said "this is not a check" across it. Servers are paid on average $2-3 per hour (all taxed away). We work for tips and if we get stiffed on a table that means we had to lose money to serve them.
When I waited tables we also had to tip out the bartenders and bus boys 4% of our sales (NOT 4% of our tips). So that meant if you wanted on a table and they didn’t tip you literally paid to wait on them because you now owe 4% of their bill to other staff.
Aaron's face at exactly 1:47:59 ... when Nate's talking about airlines & canceled flights ... Aaron's thinking "wtf is he saying" and trying not to laugh at the same time
Brian's stare at Nate while Nate was going off about people trading seats on a plane after Nate told him he is the worst to travel with had me rolling! As a traveling consultant who used to travel 50-75% of the year I could totally relate to Nate's flight etiquette and people's lack of awareness while traveling. Can't wait to see Nate this weekend in Indianapolis - I'm going to try and trade seats at the show to see if it works.
Random comment. I was watching a short documentary on the largest land crab and it was mentioned that this crab can lift the equivalent of "10 house bricks"...then, I said out loud to myself "yeah, but how many Rhode islands is that." Love this podcast
My great aunt lived til she was 97 and for the last year or so of her life whenever someone would ask her age she would say “old enough that I don’t buy green bananas anymore”, meaning she wasn’t sure she would live to see them ripen. Both morbid AND hilarious.
While Nate feels odd approaching a yard sale, many are aggressive. My cousin Keila was going through a box of items only to be told that they were cleaning out their garage, not having a yard sale. She also thought her car was broken into because when she got inside there was stuff thrown about everywhere then realized she was in someone else's exact car.
Hello Folks! My wife and I hosted two orphan kids from Ukraine over the holidays. Their favorite food, besides McDonalds, were bananas. We were going through over a dozen bananas a day and feared we would go bankrupt at the pace the kids were going. To slow the rate at which our bananas were being consumed we put them in a locked cabinet. I can report that there was no noticeable difference in freshness or decay. I would caution that if you put bananas in a cabinet that you don't forget about them because that is not good. I think that's why most people leave them out, so they don't forget about them. Let's Go Folks!
1:23:23 - I have a friend from Lubbock, TX who says almost exactly the same phrase Nate uses here "Get on outta here, He-yah" and I crack up every time I hear anyone say it. Definitely a "southern/rural/ranch-hand" expression that is very under-rated! "He-yah Now"
I shredded 50 lbs and during that time my wife said I was an angry bear, is this what’s going on with Nate? I’ve watched since the beginning but the travel part was tough to watch. Love you Nate but maybe edit that out, and maybe grab a few Big Macs from McDonalds to settle down the bear.
Casper, Wyoming Folk here! I went to the same High School as Logan Wilson (Bengals,) and I am a die hard Von Miller Fan! This episode gave me so many mixed emotions! From Nate saying he wanted Tom Brady to stay in the playoffs, to Breakfast being sad about the Titans loss. I've never felt more hurt or disconnected from you all. I had to go back to the Marriage episode and listen to Nate's rant about people who say they "don't want to bring kids into this world," just so I could feel connected to my favorite podcast again. Maybe we add NFL right beside politics on the list of things you don't discuss on this podcast. 😉
If they realized how hard fought this Bengals win was, maaaaaybe they could look at it with a little more compassion than self-pity. The Bengals have been plagued with some football-playing thugs for years that just couldn’t stay out of trouble long enough to play football consistently. This new, young crew shows some promise. The Titans weren’t beat by those former Bengals…
I haven't connected with Nate more than when he said "I'm not going to be able to talk to them about like... real stuff." Amen brother. Let's discuss whether or not you think the taco bell subscription is worth it.
Poor Aaron. On the same episode he was downgraded as smartest podcast member he was later totally schooled by Nate with the fishing pole v/s fish analogy in which Nate was totally correct. I hope it’s okay that I’m laughing, Aaron. It’s all in good fun. 😂 But also- I live in Indiana and you 100% had to have driven past dozens of cornfields during your commutes to ND. Although, to be fair, they didn’t show them on the West Wing so you might not have noticed. 😜
Nate is talking about his knowledge of being a passenger on a flight in the same manner someone else may talk about the knowledge they gained by being a doctor or a scientist. I traveled all over the world for 31 years in the Air Force and I never realized being a passenger was so difficult. I'm dying laughing.
Nate, I have learned to be super Type A now with traveling after flying with my husband who used to travel for work. At first, it was super intimidating to go through the process of going through TSA with him and even at the ticket desk. Pretty much, If you aren't ready to put all of your stuff into the bucket at the TSA belt the minute you walk up to it, meaning, you better have your keys, your change, your jewelry, watch, gold teeth and have your belt and shoes already off, ready to put on the belt, he would lose his mind. "How HARD IS IT!?" " First time at an airport!?" All of this driven by his anxiety around just getting through TSA lines and to the gate 2 hrs ahead of time. I now, have made it a game to try and be faster than him going through. More often than not, HE is the one having to walk through the x-ray machine again, or forgot to take something out of his bag. 😂
They should have cut the last part of this episode. Nate ranting about travel and berating Brian was difficult to watch. I hope he apologized to Brian afterward.
Guy friends don't need to apologise to each other. Also it wasn't that bad
@@rellenoz You are probably right. I’m a woman, so my perspective is different. I still think he owes him a Taco Bell membership 🌮
Sending Barry a virtual hug after that stern dressing-down he received from Nate about travelling. Barry looked like he was about to cry.
Nate was out of line there
Breakfast needs not your sympathy. Most important meal of the day.
That was cringeworthy! Poor ButterBean- I bet he felt like he was gonna be kicked at the water fountain next.
@@TimLinklater the water fountain ptsd sure didn’t help

Not gonna lie… I wouldn’t want to travel with Nate 😂😂
That was brutal. Way to go Aaron for trying to de-escalate.
Love it!!
I really like the original format, single topics that Burgundy researches and then we all try to learn about together 😋👍❤️😂
"I'm gonna take Canadian!" Ole' Boozer killed me with the delayed timing.
That should have been edited out. It really made Nate look bad and was hard to watch.
I was home alone and it made me feel uncomfortable.. like people arguing at the dinner table and you just sit in silence
Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by surprise, unexpectantly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls.
During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive.
You guys are all oversensitive. It was funny content.
I felt so bad for Brian and so awkward for Aaron. Can you imagine being him in that moment?!
i felt like hopping behind Nate and cheering him on

Love the podcast, but this is the ONLY episode so far where I went "Yeah, I won't be re-listenihg to this one".
I have no problem believing Nate does more for his openers than the average guy but that tirade about how bad Bates is to travel with and how he should be more grateful made me UNCOMFORTABLE.
Me too 😣
I don't think so. Just a disagreement between friends. It probably hurt to hear that Brian thought he was difficult, when he pays for everything. I can understand that feeling. Then, like he said, he was a travel routine and he doesn't want to babysit Bryan. I see both sides
Nate is quickly losing his nice guy image one broadcast at a time!
@@rellenoz I don't think that Nate was out of line for feeling that way or for expressing his frustration. But that's a conversation to be had in PRIVATE.
@@brandonprice702 I think that’s the issue…that it was done publicly. And paying for everything doesn’t buy the rights to slam someone publicly 😕

He is amazingly unaware. Ive seen kids with downs with more retrospection.
Agreed. Not everyone travels by plane every weekend. Wasn't a fan of Nate during this conversation.
If I were Brian, I would have walked out!
I wholeheartedly agree with you. This podcast has provided so much joy and laughter, so I will give Nate a mulligan on this mean rant- but he better keep those mean rants in check. That was like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Haha, is that you, Principal Skinner?
"Am I out of touch?
...No, it's the children who are wrong!"
If it makes you feel any worse, it’s even more downhill now that you shared that with all of us.
Only kidding, in good humor.
Bates gave me my biggest laugh at one of his jokes this episode. I love messing with people so his desire to mess with Canadians one more week pronouncing toque “too - k” gave me a really good chuckle. Thanks Bingham.
Yeah I can see how Nate wouldn’t be easy to travel with…
This was a tough episode to watch at the end. It’s a little like siblings who’ve spent too much time together. Nate might’ve needed a nap, Brian definitely needed a hug.

Wow, Nate, take a chill pill.🤯
Goodnight. Nate sounds like a nightmare to travel with
And to be around for extended period of time, especially when things don't go his way.
Gosh! I hope I never have to travel with Nate! He will bite my head off!
"I wanna be able to plead for my life in Russian"...first time the ads gave the biggest laugh of the episode. Well done!
Nate used to be my favorite but now, he doesn't ever finish a sentence and he is rude to Brian. That's not funny.
That segment was hard to watch. Nate's self-awareness is 0%.
It made me sad for Brian 😔 I felt uncomfortable
@@reneepoche15 They’ve always had some quarreling in the beginning of this podcast… was cringe when Brian one time put Nate down for not having a college degree… everyone’s got their own insecurities but some have not quite faced them. They all just need to take a step back and reflect on the good.
Calling him a cow at the end still trying to get a jab in at Brian was totally uncalled for.
Nate in the next episode if any of the comments of his rant against Brian get read : "well we're comics and it's all fun" and then he'll rant about it for a good 20 minutes
jeez you guys are sensitive
Hey Brian awesome show as always! You had me in stitches. Love your stuff. But what’s the deal with ol Nacho these days…? He seems kinda chippy lately. I know it’s “his” show and all but
if he keeps this up I don’t see Nateland lasting much longer than Taco Bell lasted in my stomach.
Bryan could have a sitcom show based on his life and sad stories called
"Everybody Hates Bates"
i'd watch it
I’d love that
I googled "words that start with" and "BR" was the first suggestion. I think this podcast is gaining some traction.
Back in my day watching this podcast…… there were zero ads
Also, like how Nate says “aisle.” Sounds like he said “owl.”
Well there you have it folks, Nate is that “friend” the one who throws his good deed back in your face.
He sure can dish it out but can’t handle it when it’s handed back to him.I would rather hear the f bomb on hear, then listen to Nate belittle and disrespect a friend.
"Nicest guy in comedy"
My favorite sentences start with Nate saying “the problem with the world…” Also Nate telling everyone to assume they are as smart as him is pure gold
Bingo
I love that Nate says assume everyone is smarter than you & then almost immediately says he doesn't think people can figure out he's talking about a specific kind of shoe when he says "tennis shoe."
Also the garage sale & yard sale debate has a simple answer.
That was mean Nick. Luv ya Brian! The show would suck without ya buddy!
18:28 how dare you come at Aaron. The mark of intelligence is ADMITTING when you don't know something.
If I was Brian I would never let Nate do another thing for me.
He has kinda "embarrassed mad mom" eyes with his eyebrows up and just staring at him.
like: "go on Nate, tell us how you really feel about me"
I hope this wasn’t a peek under the curtain of a toxic work relationship. I would hope not.
Brian is a super good guy. Hope Nate had something going on that made him be mean to Brian….not a good look.
This is an example of a toxic relationship. Butterfly tattoo doesn't need to take Nate's crap.
Friendship or not, I would be like, see ya.
"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian" I'll shall henceforth only refer to Breakfast as Brian...#WithBreakfastWeStand
Holy moly, Nate really loved the sound of his own voice this episode. Jeez. Great episode as always!
Aaron's thinking "wtf is he saying" and trying not to laugh at the same time
Aaron knocking out an ad with his fancy college reading
Well that was kinda brutal for Brian, seems like Natalie is having his time of the month.
omg i'm dying. Brian please pick this comment
Good bye folks. We’re out.
…just don’t let her hear you say that. We’ll never hear the end of it 😂😂😂
NATALIE. OMG YES.
Hahahah we gotta call Nate Natalie when he gets out of line 😂
I was saddened by Nate's rant until I realized he's probably trying to quit sugar. Been there.
This comment is underrated.
Exactly what I was thinking!!!!!
Got it, treat everyone with decency and don't expect that your experience mirrors everyone else's, except you got a freakin' flight to catch! lol
Fun fact. I actually did trade seats at his show and it did not work! Good luck, folks.
“The nicest guy in comedy”???
I don’t think so after that rant on Brian!! I’m out!!
Good bye folks.
I didn't like that either. Its happened many times. I think they should just do the podcast once or twice a month. I think Nate is getting tired.
Maybe just in title only?
Random comment. I was watching a short documentary on the largest land crab and it was mentioned that this crab can lift the equivalent of "10 house bricks"...then, I said out loud to myself "yeah, but how many Rhode islands is that." Love this podcast
This episode released on my birthday and I get to host for Aaron Weber at The Grove this weekend. Couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate!
My great aunt lived til she was 97 and for the last year or so of her life whenever someone would ask her age she would say “old enough that I don’t buy green bananas anymore”, meaning she wasn’t sure she would live to see them ripen. Both morbid AND hilarious.
Nate, you went a little hard on the Beaver
I like it when it’s just one topic. Thanks love the show. I fall asleep to it ever Wednesday.
"He-yah Now"
Having traveled quite a lot, I think Nate has many great points and a wonderful understanding of the travel process.
My grandkids now have to bring a bottle of water to school with them everyday in case they want a drink.
Wow. Aaron could be a voiceover actor. What a voice. Also much more of a coherent advertising plug than Nate can do.
Nate’s rant at the end “I had no expectations and I’m still disappointed”
Brian being afraid of the nicest people on earth (Canadians) is the best thing 😂
Does Nate like Breakfast? Cause sheesh
Greatest sequence of the show 1:06:16
Here in Oregon it rains a lot when the sun is out! 🙃🤣 Some (me included) call it 'Liquid Sunshine'..
Nateland is the only podcast I have to listen to on 1.5 speed.
Nate just went full ‘Colonel Nathan Jessup’ and I’m not gonna lie…it was uncomfortable.
Appreciate the extreme confidence with which you pronounced “frappe” as “frappy” instead of “fra-pay”
It's pronounced frap. Rhymes with rap. If you want a frappé go to McDonald's
@@towelunderthedoor haha good to know! my bad. i knew there was no way it could be "frappy" though lol
Brian, blink twice if you feel like you’re in danger…
They should have cut the last part of this episode. Nate ranting about travel and berating Brian was difficult to watch. I hope he apologized to Brian afterward.
I’m hoping he does in the podcast since it wasn’t a private fight anyways
