You guys are the cutest!! Your videos are to the point and honest and appreciate that. I walked 218km with a friend in 2018 from SJPP and had to skip quite a bit (train and taxied) due to time constraints. I had anticipated walking the full Camino in 2022, but alas, life intervened. I was pretty excited to know you walked in October. I only have 3 weeks and will walk from SJPP beginning first week in October for 16 days and end wherever I end. We walked 3/27 - 4/13 in 2018. It looks like you guys were caught in the weather transition from fall to winter with the wind. I live in Montana, which has similar elevation and weather as Spain. Thanks for sharing. It has helped to solidify my choice to walk in the fall. Looking forward to watching the rest of your Camino.
Thank you for enjoying the videos. Fall is really our favourite time to walk. I hope you get to walk the Camino again soon! It's wonderful that you goto to experience parts of it in 2018. It's hard to find time when life gets busy, but it's also nice to take the leap and just go for it!
I walked through Sahagun on October 16, 2022 and the church for the halfway certificate was shut then also. I sympathize with how you felt, but glad you pushed through!
lol yes, we woke up early to reach the church in Sahagun before lunch. But lucky our camino friends let us know we could get the half way cert in the info. centre :)
You guys are pretty hardcore. Doing 31-34 kms, and starting before sunrise? Nuts! How do you like the downhill to Hornillos and Hontanas? Pretty steep, eh? Like you said, where's the town? Then it's right below you! I had to pause before braving downhill towards Hornillos. Emilio Esteves' son married the daughter of the owner of Casa Sol A Sol in Hornillos. As you know, Emilio Esteves produced the movie "The Way" that popularized the Camino even more. At Albergue Orion in Castrojeriz, we had Korean Bibimbap , a nice break from the usual pilgrims' meal. It was a nice surprise cultural lesson for most pilgrims. My horizon due to my neck injury is only about 20 feet max but I understand what you said about the seemingly endless meseta . My kids got tired each time I asked, "are we there yet?" Despite your long walks, it is good to see that you guys are safe and having a great time doing your Camino. Cheers, and can't wait to watch your next episode.
Thanks for the really nice movies. Desperately waiting for the next part 🙂If you are looking for other long hikes -- maybe consider the Camino del Norte. Very different from the Frances.
Thank you so much! i'm working hard on getting the next video out. I've heard a lot about Camino del Norte. I hope one day we'll get to walk it. The Primitivo looks interesting too!
I've heard this, some people do skip the meset a. Some who are short of time. There's a UK TV on the Camino and they skip it out. I've heard too that some skip it out if they have done it once.
Watching in 2024 and looking forward to seeing part 5❤
I loved the Meseta- the lighting was magical to me. 😊
I’m really enjoying your videos. Is there a part 5?
WOW! Another great video! You guys are crushing it. long days with lots of Km...Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks so much! The long days are hard but always feels amazing at the end of the day :)

Curious if you will uploading the rest of your Camino videos.
Yes sorry its taken so long to get the last videos up. We've been busy moving cities, but I hope to finally finish editing soon :)
@@avendanoable Any news when we can possibly expect the next part to arrive? Looking forward to continue the journey with you.
I got my certificate at the municipal albergue in the centre of town now, June 2022. They've changed it. They should put a notice up.....love
WAITING FOR PART 5
I hate to be that guy, but when can we expect the next part?

So soryy you didn't enjoy the meseta. I actually liked it. Have done it twice. But you either love it or hate it. LOL
La Meseta no se puede recorrer en Julio y Agosto . Hace demasiado calor y poca sombra. Todo son campos de cereales .
