Love the innovation in this space. Sonders and Zero and Volcon and Harley and others are all delivering, and tons of awesome new designs in the pipeline. Dig it. Thanks for posting!!
So are you saying with a full charge you will get about 17 miles of freeway driving? If so that is to bad. Living in California or other big cities for that matter, you usually jump on a freeway for 5-10 miles before hitting the surface streets again to go anywhere.
My job is located roughly 10 miles away and it’s all highway at 65mph. I’m questioning if this bike can handle that every day commute. Looks like it will.
good question. AAA is sending me to CHP to get it inspected. the problem is, CHP closest to me says they'll call me in 2-3 weeks to set up appt. for inspection. another thing, engine #, AAA/DMV can't recognize it. another obstacle i'll have to deal with after CHP inspection. and since this bike is only purchased online, and i have to deal with all the DMV fees and taxes, i've paid $800+ in fees.
I know you believe it to be a city bike. What about country riding, where roads a paved and speeds 35-50. Do you think that fits well, or do you think it can’t handle country hills. It’s pretty hilly where I’m at.
the metacycle handles hills pretty well in my city. but plan accordingly from point A to point B and back. realistically this bike has a range of 40 miles city riding 35-50mph average speed.
If this how the sondors metacycle preforms then I would say that the ryvid anthem will preform the same. Considering that the two have very similar specs. Would you agree???
i'd say 15 miles range. i weigh 180lbs, plus carrying backpack that's probably another 10lbs plus gear, another 10lbs. even though it can do highway speeds, bike is only good for city riding, in my opinion.
Greetings love the design but range to short and acceleration kind of slow compared to zero bikes also price kind of hefty think for what you get shouldn't cost more than 4k.

yeah, just bring the 8lb charger with you.
nice, that's faster than traffic on the way home. might even be able to sleep in late with this instead of trying to beat traffic in the am.
Was it easy to register with dmv and insurance???

maybe?
Looks capable, what sort of range will you get at those speeds?

So are you basically pegged the whole time on the freeway?
nah.
Greetings love the design but range to short and acceleration kind of slow compared to zero bikes also price kind of hefty think for what you get shouldn't cost more than 4k.
if most of your commute is freeway, i'd say just get a Zero.
How was the handling at 73mph?
it was surprisingly good. but the battery just can't handle long highway rides. drains fast. it's better for city riding.
Advertised as 80 so they basically lied
73 is what the speedo said, but I wonder what your ACTUAL speed was??
i'll try again with an actual gps tracker.
Nice, but can it wheelie?
if you want it bad enough.
