Yes! purebred Birman have the white-gloved paws. I have a mix birman balinese kitten (Dad Birman and Mom Balinese) my kitten have the white paws like dad, but some of the kittens from the same litter was more like mom Balinese. still adorable.
Your cat is long hair Siamese/Balinese. I had the same problem with mine, i thought it was Birman his entire life, i just learned now that Birmans have white paws

This one looks like it could be a Ragdoll Birman mix. Breeders breed with ragdolls to create genetic diversity. Inbreeding is a big problem with Birmans.
