Excellent tips! Explaining what metering modes to use for each and the reason is something you don't hear others explain often but of course it is vitally important for correct exposure. Great job.

Even as a pretty experienced photographer, I never think about changing the metering mode so thanks for just reminding me that there are other options Julia. And very useful tips in direct sun shooting which I always tend to avoid.

I love this! I like how you explain which metering mode you use and why. One thing that a lot forget to do (especially when just starting) is to use the metering modes properly and they think that it's recoverable in post. More so now that dynamic range in cameras are great but still, there are scenarios where certain types of metering won't work with the scene.

I watched the whole video at normal speed. That's how good it was. You make portrait photography seem so easy, I like all three styles, the first for vibrant and contrast compositions, the second coz it looks like the models are dreaming and the 3rd the viewer is dreaming too, we're transported there, like a movie scene✌

Good idea to do this video to differentiate among the 3 natural light shoots. I know I pretty much take for granted shooting outdoors and simply try to make each shot work. Never thought much about an underlying strategy about the process. I will now, and will be better prepared with your tips. Thank you.
