2000 Arrives - Central, Mountain, Pacific Time Zones (U.S., Canada, Mexico)

Looking back to what seems like a simpler time - now incredibly 10 years in our past already.
Highlighting the celebrations that took place December 31, 1999 leading up to the arrival of the new millennium. Coverage shows midnight arriving in the Central and Mountain Time Zones in Mexico City, Chicago, New Orleans, Boise, Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Calgary. Then the countdowns move to the West Coast in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Vancouver, and San Francisco.
There was such optimism everywhere that night. Some things since then may have disappointed us, but as another decade arrives now, maybe we need some of that again...
Have hope - the 21st century is still young.
