Just so everyone knows, the man in this video reached out to me and apologized for his behavior, expressing regret for making me feel uncomfortable. I believe this clearly shows that even the shop owner recognized his mistake and felt the need to apologize. There’s never any reason to treat anyone poorly, influencers included. To all those who spouted such horrible hate on threads, you should feel sad and ashamed for defending someone whose own actions warranted an apology to me. My wishes going forth is no one harasses the man in the video - I strongly believe two wrongs don’t make a right.
He only apologized because he knew he was going to be on youtube girl. He was still rude as hell. There was absolutely no reason why he couldn't just politely ask you to leave.
You kept your cool with that rude man, who is he to tell you what you can and can't do. Very rich him commenting on your strawberries when I'm sure he sells overpriced beer!
The beer man is so miserable! He is complaining about people buying chocolate covered strawberries at a market, he should know that people can buy beer anywhere not just at borough market.
While I can understand why people find influencers annoying, there’s no reason to be rude. And I’m sorry you had to experience that, because it can really sour a day or experience :/. Also this is free advertisement, so he should be glad influencers are telling people (locals and tourists) where to go. That extra foot traffic could help benefit him.
@@elliotterolhunt7362 influencer hater apparently… pretty rich coming from someone who’s got “follow us on instagram” in big letters in front of his shop 😂
I'm a Londoner that can no longer grab my working lunch there because influencers have absolutely ruined that place!! It used to be so f*cking cool but now it is unbearable. This was a local place, not a tourist place! And the traders that are selling wholefoods & drinks etc cannot get customs because people are standing by the entrance to their shop. (I'm not being mean to Oriana, but I think you should understand where he is coming from!)
@@AM-dz2shI don’t understand where he is coming from at all. There is NEVER a reason to disrespect someone, swear at someone, EVEN if you don’t approve of their job. I understand the busyness is a problem, but whether you like it or not there is a demand for influencers and vloggers to share their experiences of places like borough market, and we shouldn’t feel threatened when only doing our job. I should also note I stood between two shops so I didn’t disturb anyone’s shop, as you know if you visit frequently it can be hard to find anywhere to stand and I thought this was a respectable and safe place to eat and film.
@@AM-dz2sh It's important to appreciate different perspectives, but I must respectfully disagree with your viewpoint. Borough Market has always been a vibrant part of London, attracting both locals and tourists. Influencers like Oriana bring visibility and new customers to local businesses, which can be beneficial for traders. While it’s true that the market can get crowded, this is part of its evolution. Insulting Oriana or any other individual is neither productive nor fair. Regardless of your viewpoint, the rudeness displayed by the storekeeper was simply wrong and reflects more on his own issues than anything else. Coming from another Londoner 😉
@@AM-dz2shbut who would complain about more foot traffic in a market where they are selling! More exposure is more people coming through, isn’t that what the stall owners want!
hold up, how have influencers ruined borough market. surely the more exposure the better? People can see first hand what they're missing out on and go look for themselves. That made no sense. Sounds like someone's had some influencers try his beer and exposed it for tasting or rat p*ss 🤣
It was “fine” I guess when I went but I can imagine that it can get super dirty with all the stalls / vendors and customers! I also think it needs more standing tables! 😅
What an absolute 🔔 end...the market is world famous because of bloggers like your beautiful self buying their products and putting it on the world wide web... funny how his stall is empty...coz hes a total 🍆...cancel that wine seller for his utter disrespect..love your content.

You’re exactly right! Saying that defeats the point of the market - you can technically buy anything they sell there elsewhere (or make it at home)
Nope. Wannabe bloggers and vloggers have ruined everywhere decent.
@@xlxfx we were all wannabes once - have a little bit of respect.
Going to Borough Market tomorrow and will make sure to not spend even £1 at the Cartwright Brothers, as they don’t seem to like people.
I’m so hungry after watching this! I’m thinking I need to take my wife there tomorrow for some great street food 😁👍🏻

The paella looks amazing!!😮
It does look amazing but it was probably the most disappointing dish for me. Not terrible just not very flavoursome!
This is just amazing. Makes me want to go ❤

Marvelous place ❤❤
It really is! ❤ borough market is one of a kind!
A look at theme which is food ✌️
Dude said "You're ruining the market" He is literally selling alcohol that which ruins people.
