Thank you guys ♥️. I really love this video. This is so informative. Nice to become familiar with the culture, people, plants and animals of De Gambia.
Yes Sis it was hard for me as well. We lost everything, everything, and have to piece together our lives. They still are trying to keep us enslaved economically. It is very sad ....very sad 🙏🏽❣
I had the pleasure to met and have a picture of America's last and oldest iron worker who learned his trade through African ancestors in Gullah country South Carolina about 18 years ago. I am blessed to have his picture because he had passed away. He was a treasure to America because he had true African knowledge of metal work!!! RIP
I think it's wonderful to teach the youngsters about respecting wildlife and conservation. I feel the native elephant and giraffe will make a comeback as long as we respect these great native African animals and keep those who kill for ornamentals out!!! They are a symbol of African greatness and we must learn to live with Gods creatures.

This is EPIC you need to go back again because you were actually in the Gambia traditional cultural intergration school in the name of a Museum.I loved how you were eager to learn, asked questions was fascinated by everthing. You know what you were also educating continental brothers and sisters who are also comparing the cultral similarities among their own and the Gambians .You 2 are the GEMS and the diaspora ROLE models. I’m always interested in plant life that can withstand the opportunistic parasites of the wild. If edible the nutrients in the plants can be digested and this is can protect us from the inflammation, infections and worsening of disease processes. The never die tree needs to be studied.
Those days everything was naturally made. As you can tell, Africans were inventives and innovative. In my culture, every man must be and should be circumcised 8th day or one week after a baby boy is born .
There is history about the Mandinka going to Mali. The first was Bilali, who migrated from Saudi Arabia. He was the Azan for the Prophet Muhammad. Sundiata Keita descended from him.And that guy is telling a tale. The Mandinka were big-time slave traders and they sold quite a few Fula, but in the Casamance area.
@@TheArrival2020 Now you KNOW where the shofar originated from. Terri you’ll should take pictures of all the spices (birds) on your land. Thanks for the museum tour. The Gambia need an Animal Reserve for their endangered species.
They migrated from Northern Sudan to Mali to the Senegal region. My ancestors our originally from North Sudan/Ancient Egypt and migrated to Mali 3500 years ago and formed the Kingdom of Sin who are the modern day Serer peoples. We use the Shofar during Rosh Hashana and my people where definitely Jewish and I am descended from them and I was born as an African American Jew and raised as a Sephardic Jew, my DNA goes back 60,000 years to Sudan (Cush dynasty) and links me to the Levant (Berber, Sephardic, Mizrahi, and Yemen Jews genetically). My paternal ancestor was a Jew from the Serer people and my maternal ancestry was a Jew from the village of Bo in Serre Leone, Bo stands for "come" in Hebrew. The stones in the Gambia are the ancestral remains of the Serer royalty house that extends from King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba of Nubia. I am basically a genetically linked Hebrew Israelite.
