The active getting thrown out the window made me start crying laughing i had no idea that was even possible
AD is easily the hardest fight in the game. I've basically 100% completed the game, killed Rat tons of times, only ever beaten AD once.
Eh, I'm not sure. I think getting to AD usually means you fought Rat and if you're any good at the third phase, you have the OP Rat items that make AD a lot easier.
Fighting it with the op rat Cheese item is the best way to fight it. Even more so of you have another invincibility item like lead skin. The rat bag item let's you have multiple items. Makes you invincible most of the fight
@@EukaryoticCS Sure. The boss itself is still harder, even in context of the run.
I mean looking just at the attack patterns, AD is a lot harder. But you have to remember there are at least 2 floors more when fighting AD than Rat, so the build can become a lot stronger. Plus there are restrictions for the Rat (115 shells for the key, for example) that you can ignore if you happen to get the Weird Egg and just go for AD
really? i have no disagree tbh, for me the rat is way harder than AD, but that's mainly because of the punchout rat phase
That one person is right: Dan is the only person who could figure out how to throw an item out a window. However, I expected him to finish that run in true Dan fashion by beating the special boss after the blunder.
Good effort here, the Advanced Dragon is no joke. Blank management is secretly the hardest thing in this game, if you can master the art of not panic-blanking, then you can make many boss patterns so much easier.
i’m mostly a lurker but as soon as these gungeon videos come out i’m here and watching them, these make my day and i love getting 2 vids in one day if we’re lucky

RIP. I gotta say though, I'm impressed. Your average level of play has really scaled up over the past few weeks. A lot less bad damage, a lot less glancing, and a lot more knowledge of the guns and boss patterns. It's cool to see the growth!

man this game has some horrible boss design. Just throw out a "you can't shoot" circles that blend in with the environment and have no indication of what they do 90 minutes into the run. It's fun to watch but I'm glad I gave up on playing it a few hours in
It's a system from challenge mode - I guess you're not intended to be fighting the advanced dragon before CM

"are their any streamers that get annoyed when you give advice like that cause i get pogged up" i remember one time i was on dans stream when he raided baertaffy and chat started to front seat and baer immediately in an annoyed tone of voice was like "i know thats how dan runs his stream but we don't do that here so please chill out with that" and people started using the dangfrontseat emojis with an ✖️ in the middle in baers chat XD
