If memory serves, it's possible to get up to seven extra balls from the targets, if they're all hit exactly once each, then collect extra ball, then hit them all a second time each, then collect extra ball, etc. I've never gotten anywhere near seven, but I'm pretty certain I've collected more than one when I played this game ~30 years ago. Too bad vandals broke the machine and it got replaced with Time Fantasy (which I found rather mediocre). Perhaps some people may think this game's a bit too much on the easy side, since it's the first game on which I racked up ten credits starting at one (after having spent many quarters getting good at it). I'd be happy for a chance to see it again, though.
Question. Let's say you build up a big bonus, but fail to hit the bonus collect gate, and you drain the ball do you not receive that bonus? Or do you receive the bonus but on ball two you start back at zero?
You always get the bonus when you drain the ball. The collect gate is just a way to get the bonus without draining, plus 10k for each target bank you've completed. If you have only two banks completed you'll only get 20k but you can collect those points over and over again. You'll often get the sling to fire it at the gate in a way where it doesn't go back into the shooter lane, activating the collect gate twice. A nice way to accidentally make some points.
The time it took you to create this video you could have adjusted the slingshots. Great tutorial video though, I played this game a couple time at the Houston Arcade Expo and it felt a little dull to me.

This game always reminded me of Williams' Flash pinball in terms of layout and sounds.
It's actually almost 1:1 with Blackout. Check out and compare the layouts. Almost similar. Cheers.
