The best way I organized the wiring on my boat is I got rid of the old problem after problem and bought a new one. Hope this helps many with troublesome spaghetti boat wiring of days old
Very nice quality work! You should consider bridging your main power wires onto the switch clusters into the middle position switch instead of an end ( you may have to change to a yellow colored - 12-10GA female blade connector to fit 3 wires into it though). This will give you less voltage drop to the far end switch because the paths are shorter. I did a LOT of similar work as an AT&T tech for harnesses for -48VDC powered equipment, and we used waxed polyester twine to bundle and lace harnesses, as it was cheaper than cable ties, didn't take much more time, but, you eliminate the "knuckle cutting" sharp edges of the ties.

I had trouble changing out lights in my 1990 Holiday Rambler motor home because I spent 34 years as an Electrician working with A.C. current and I finally figured out that with D.C. the black wire is not the hot wire and the white wire is not the neutral. Now today I learn that yellow doesn't mean Lighting Circuit. It's a whole different ball-game.
I had just recently discovered that newer boats are using the Yellow wire, but it was for the Hot circuit? I am confused if Yellow is ground or Hot now?
The yellow wire is a "return" to negative for the switches light function. Some might call it a ground, but in essence it does not serve a "grounding" function as it doesn't serve as a direct connection to the boats hull. Each one of those switches has an internal light, that is connected to the +12V red feed wire when it is turned on, but to reliably connect the light to a negative, the yellow wire serves as it's connection to negative battery terminal or bus on the fuse block.
