Hi Deanna 👋 So glad you happy with your new machine! I cannot wait to see what else you make with it. I’m very curious about the thicker binding/ more pages, and if the pages hold well. Thank you for sharing 😀
What an easy way to make journals and note pads. Tell us more about that beautiful item that you placed under the Thermal Cinch please and thank you. (I believe you called it a cutting board)
It's amazing the way things have come so far in advance like making books and things. I remember back in 3040 years ago when I was just in the classroom and how we had to put things together. We sure have come a long way. I wish I had one of these back in my classroom when kids were doing their projects and we could have really been put them together and no time. Thank you for sharing.
I really like my thermal cinch. I watched a real good video from we r makers about the cinch and a lot of good advice on how to use. Make sure to tap tap tap . Lol
I see them golden books and watching you cut them down it hurts my heart. lol I use to read them to my kids way back in the day, my oldest is almost 43 lol so 40 yrs ago I was reading them to my 2 oldest baby’s her brother is 41 lol (14 months apart) my memories come crashing when ya cut into them. lol this is one fun machine, and seems to work like a charm. Tfs ❤😊
Think about the memories you can journal about using these pages. Write about what these stories made you feel, these can be used for your children and it can serve a purpose for you if you ever lose your memory. I know that it hurts to cut up books, especially treasured ones, rethink how much it might hurt if those memories are lost from your mind, or seeing different perspectives and new heirlooms to be passed down.
WoW what a great card! I'm surprised you didn't get the pink one. That's the one I have on this years Christmas gift. Even though all of my other memory stuff is in the green except for the small crop a dile as it was the breast cancer one I bought is in the mint, I just don't like this mint green.
I have made a few notebooks with mine so far. I tap the spine on my worktable a few times, when I take it out of the machine. Then I let it cool. Haven’t had any problems.
I recent received my TC . I did a small book. I am please . I had to cut mine down as well and used the same type of tape. I am looking forwards to making more journals and notebooks.
Were you using scor tape ? I would love to see you completely make your own spine and use scor tape for it all and see how that works. I would love to not keep buying their adhesive strips once I get my machine
It’s like an Easy Bake Oven for journals! Love it.
So true!
I just ordered one. I'm excited! Thanks for sharing!
Loved that you added the strip to the covers only and then put the pages in! Looks much easier to manage!

Just like the Cricut Your Story that we all purchased in the past
Dinner looked amazing 🤩 Very nice experiment with the Little Golden Book, Deanna! I’m enjoying everyone trying out their machines :)
I remember mentioning to you about using the Cinch on Golden Book Journals. I’m glad you tried it. ❤
I couldn't find a light pink one either and I did look.
