Fundamentals in Structural Engineering.Sections. Part-3, Elastic Bending Moment.

In this third video, we aim to continue advancing in structural fundamentals after introducing the concept of bending moment at the section level. To do this, we will build on the first two videos available on the channel (Center of Gravity and Second Moment of Inertia). We will calculate the elastic ultimate moment of a steel section based on a perfectly elasto-plastic material behavior (bilinear diagram). Additionally, we will also illustrate the stress and strain diagrams associated with the bending moment. We will conclude with the concept of elastic curvature.
