I once found myself arguing that clustertruck could serve as an insightful metaphor for the both the struggle of the individual against the mindless horde of society and the absolute necessity of that same society for the individual.

Clustertruck is more Superhot than Rocket League in terms of structure, it gives you a set of levels that fully explore the mechanical possibilies and then leaves you to challenge yourself with different settings and modifiers. You should probably expect 7-15 hours of pure nonstop child-like adrenaline rush out of the game, which I believe is worth it's price tag
I love how Yahtzee's single handedly getting this channel to one million subs, even though it's slowly.

A funny thing I discovered about Clustertrucks: If you're streaming it on Twitch every once in a while the Devs will show up just to mess with the player. I love it.
I quite enjoyed clustertruck but if you get pissed off then it's game over fast.
It kinda reminds me of Super Monkey Ball in its slightly addictive feel and balanced learning curve. Super Monkey Ball just drops you in the game and teaches you nothing but it it will make sure you remember how you failed in its instant replays. Let's just say that it's best to play it in short bursts. =P
Yeah I'm easily frustrated so games like this are my kryptonite. I loved the concept but it drove me insane. Same with things like Dark Souls.

An oddly specific nit-pick I find myself having is that "das" isn't appropriate for every noun. German uses genders, and das is the neuter gender. Left out der (masculine) and die (feminine)
Phillip Malerich It's a game based on an overly simplified stereotype of the average German citizen. Hence the lack of 'der' and 'die'.
if it was true to german it would have articles in the accusative genetive and dative aswell. So den, dessen, deren etc. have also been left out.
But to include actual german grammar rules would overcomplicate and confuse the people who play it.

Yeah, but German's weirder. est. For example, there's a Porsche doppelkuplung. Which based on the word itself sounds like poop splash, but that's beside the point. German fuses words together when it literally just means dual clutch.
Speaking of difficulty creep, SpaceChem is probably one of the most notorious ones. By the time you get to later worlds, it stops being a puzzle game and becomes actual work.
I think your explanation of their style of difficulty is the best part.

CYNreviews yeah. Yhatzee is doing literally everything on the Escapist's channel. MoS is on their own channel now and Jim Sterling left the company, leaving only two shows on the channel: Zero Punctuation (narrated by Yhatzee) and Judging by the Cover (ALSO narrated by Yhatzee).

I didn't play "floor is lava" ...
... but I DID play Drive By Shooting, where you're walking along the sidewalk and a car passes by so you can't be caught in the open and you have to dash behind the nearest parked car to be in the safe zone. Yeah.
Also people's driveways were clearly always a danger zone because no one ever parks in front of them unless they're a special kind of arsehole.
That makes me slightly concerned about your environment growing up.
Then again, if I apply the same thinking to "the floor is lava", I should be concerned that every kid ever lives next to a hyper-active volcano.

Fantastic. Once again, a couple reviews that are undoubtedly more entertaining than the games they target. I'm still trying Clustertruck, because it looks like at least 5 minutes of fun, and I have money burning a hole in my Steam wallet (not). ;)

might also be in german, but i know for sure it is that in dutch, they are very alike (dutch is basically bastardised german). words like das is not dutch though.

the one thing clustertruck should of let me do to feel even more like a bad ass is to run on the rocks that arent part of the floor cause you can run along debris but not the rocks or the pre destroyed pillars. the game i felt was awesome but only if you play in very short bursts which does somewhat lend to the survivability of such a limited concept.

Probably next week. A rule of thumb I've got for expecting ZP episodes is to let two of them come out between release and review. Any sooner than that probably means Yahtzee's been desperate for content, the game's really short, or it's actually something he's wanted to play.

And that's a bad miss.
The creeping difficulty is why two hour refund limits are pointless.
You get tricked into thinking the games fun and then it goes for the kill just about the same time your nearing the end of your refund limit.
It's annoying, unless you know your countries law on refunds in which case emails to steam support turn into a quote copy and pasting match.

Ok, ok, sorry as a non native english speaker some times I miss a sarcastic joke.
For someone that's not a native english speaker, your grammar is far better than most people that grew up speaking english
As a native English speaker, I can tell you sarcasm is mostly heard in the tone/sound of the way you say something, so getting sarcasm from text is usually difficult. Some people like to add a "/s" to the end of something sarcastic, as the "/" used in text can mean "either or" or "end of" or "divided by".
When using the "/s", the "/" means "end of" and the "s" stands for sarcasm.
So, it would be used like this:
The floor is lava? I've never heard of that before Yahtzee. /s
