    James is cheeky

  • @terencewilliammckenna6121
    @terencewilliammckenna6121 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It was Diesel? But, why?
    Cuz he wanted revenge - when he became laughing-stock to the trucks while showing off to duck his revolution and thought that it was duck’s fault, he decided to spread these rumors, so as to send him away.
    That’s why he acted like he knew nothing at all.
    & to make these rumors, he used up names with inspirements of other engines’ events that had recently happened.
    Like when Henry’s wheel-acres were flat, James’s vans got mixed- up and Diesel was told what would’ve happened if Edward hadn’t saved James with a lasso, and Gordon had sizzling water popping on his boiler, he came up with the “galloping sausage”, “rusty red scarp-iron”, and “old square wheels” names. And he'd gave other engines name probably, too.
    Then, this is also why Duck was sent to Wellsowrth, so Sir Topham Hatt could sort this problem and pend upon further inquiries.
    Diesel got worried about being exposed, so that’s when he started framing Henry to making the problem harder.
    (Diesel: If it wasn’t for you meddlers, I could’ve succeeded and send Duck away for good!)

      Duck gets sent away to Edward's station at the end of Dirty Work and that's where Duck is when this story begins.
      As for your other question, Sir Topham was already suspicious of Diesel even before sending Duck away and simply let Diesel think he'd gotten away with it. Diesel got cocky as a result and tried to do the same thing to Gordon as he did to Duck, only to get caught in the act.
