This is probably the nicest wall hanging I have seen 😍 I’m going to give it a go. I think it’s beautiful. Please do a video on how to join the extra side pieces 🙏🏻
This is obviously for more advanced skills - I just started and can't even figure out the first knot! I've watched it over and over and over. Any help appreciated!
For this pattern you pick up 6 cords then drop the two outer cords so that you’re left with 4 cords Of the 4 cords you now have in hand, you cross the 2 outer cords over each other to make a filler cord There will be 2 cords on the middle. Pick up the middle left cord and double half hitch to the right Pick up the middle right cord and double half hitch to the left Pull those 2 cords that you’d crossed over each other to tighten I hope I helped a little ☺️ I’m a novice myself so I’m not even sure if I used the correct terms
So for any confusion with measurements: cords are 365 centimetres and guessing to be 4 millimeters in width. The video doesn’t say the width. I estimated a stick of 60 centimetres to fit. Hope that is on the mark and fits. Please let me know how you go.
I love this piece, but, I have only got as far as the first row of hearts and the circles underneath. I can’t seem to work out where the next row of hearts should be. Can you help please? I know it says make sure they are in the middle of the circles, but I’m having a senior moment! TIA.
So the circle, once you’ve tied it, will have six cords to one side and six cords to the other side (that’s the easiest way to visualize the cords to use for the heart). Use those twelve cords to tie your next heart. Another way to start the next row: From the left side, tie your first “magic switch knot” with cords 8,9,10, and 11. That’s your starting place for that row. Hope this helps!
HI.This is really beautiful and I would like to attempt to make it in a 5 ply. How long is each cord in the 3 ply you used to achieve this wall hanging?
They were probably 10’ to 12’ but I don’t remember exactly. The side ones don’t need to be as long. Make the cords towards the middle longer, if anything.
The tutorial is for the heart and circle panel in the middle. The pic of my finished piece is just for inspiration and not included in this tutorial (as noted in the video description). I have several other videos with designs (Tutorial no. 31 has the spirals) that work well or you can make your own.
Use the playback function to slow it down. It’s not a “beginner” pattern so make sure you’re comfortable with your right and left-facing double half hitch knots as this is entirely composed of double half hitch knots. Good luck!
lovely Pattern , but not for beginers, A lot of counting, If you make a mistake it will put out the whole pattern . I would have prefered the presenter be vocal in explaining some of these knots and the directions the chords where to be used, quite confusing . Also it would have been nice to see the completed project from top to bottom and also include the side panels in this pattern instead of having to go find it. When I did find it, she gave no description of the length of cord to use for the side panels. Disappointed with this presentation.
@@azizahali8155 It was unfamiliar to me too until a couple months ago, and I’ve done macrame since the 80’s! I found another of her tutorials just on making hearts (tutorial #22) and it helped. It’s a bit tricky and I’m still not real comfortable with it yet, but I’m practicing.

Me too for my son’s wedding.
Lengths but not width of cord at start of the video under the tutorial in text.
What size cord and what size stick please? These details aren’t mentioned in your video.

Love this. What size cord? 3, 4mm?
3 mm -3 ply
You say the cords are 12' id this inches? Because 12 inches seem too small. Beautiful design by the way!
‘ means feet. “ means inches.

How many metre cord used to finish this project.. ?
How long a cord. Can you please say it in centimetres?
Oooh!! you kill me! This is beautiful 😍😍
I hope you get a chance to try it out! The pattern could be easily modified to be smaller, too. Just start with three hearts instead of five.
What is the length of the string in cm?
Did you find out? It's so beautiful but 12"? Think I'm misunderstanding something
@@lizvanwyk980112 inches doubled over so 24
How long does it take to make and would be nice if given what materials how long the strands...
it does say how long and materials...watch the video.....shows at the bottom
Perfeito ❤
Grazie
Beautiful. Can you tell us what the strings are?
Length of this pattern are at the beginning of the video.
@@KnotSeriousStudio what size cord are you using in this tutorial? Beautiful, just beautiful
3 mm in all my tutorials
There are 3.28 feet in a meter. Or use Google (any search engine, really) to convert any measurement you aren't familiar with.
@@KnotSeriousStudio gracias

Lindo demais 😃
What is the size of dowel that is required for this project?
Up to you...you could use driftwood, or copper pipe.
What size dowel did you use?
Where is the instructions for the other part after the middle piece, the outer trim section

Bellísimo 👏 pero no entiendo la primera parte 😦
Watch tutorial no. 20 first, then try tutorial no. 22.
I dont measure how long is 12‘ in cm please ???
If i use a prg one rope are 3,6 meter ??? I dont think that this is true
12 inches written
Is each cord 365 cm?
Absolutely love this but I'm really struggling with the 2nd row of hearts, my cords end up baggy 😪
Did you find a solution?
Tie a knot at the end of the cord
No solution, ended up doing my own thing, was really disappointed with it 😕
Hi 12? What is that in cm
Just do a search “12 feet =“ in your browser and a conversion tool should pop up. I do it all the time.
