Perfect timing! Just ordered a bunch of lube from the Cubicle and i wondered how i should go about it, and now i know! Great video!
For puzzles with YueXiao Pro-like centers, you can tap the center piece upside down on the table to get the washer out, but this only works if it has not been lubed before.
Ghost Cuber I think the washer in the white center piece on mine was stuck. I tried hitting it on the table pretty hard and a few other things to get it out and it wouldn’t budge.
UberCuber some of them can be really tricky to get out. I typically leave it alone unless the spring noise is really bad.
You can take the lube with the syringe which has a green tip and try to pull it out.

Hey mate you lube your 4x4 the same way just instead of in the centre piece, lube the under side of the inner pieces
lmaoo, i learned how to set up a 4x4 by myself, but putting it back together was a struggle the first try, 2 years ago i was a noob.

I have a new speedcube that I want to setup (after having it for about a week). I've already tensioned it to how I like it. However, I can't disassemble it to clean because it is tight. Is this normal? Should I loosen the tension to take it apart and then retension it?
EDIT:
I loosened it, disassembled it and lubed it. After lubing, I found that I could now keep it looser so that's all sorted.

About half to a full hour mate to lube the full cube
Cuberz takes about half an hour if you’re in a hurry lol

Hey everyone. I'm trying to decide what cube to get. My friend let me try out his Gts2, and at first I liked it, but after a couple solves, I found that it was a little clunky, loud, and didn't have a very "smooth" feel to it, so I think that a different cube may be the better choice for me. I am open to any price, but preferably below $25-30. Budget cubes, magnetic cubes, or just regular cubes are all contenders. Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone recommends.

The method would be the same :) I think that cyotheking uploaded a tutorial on setting up a 5x5, and I’m sure that mine would be almost the same. Check that one out, I think it should help!

It will be fine it just won’t last quite as long as something like weight 5

Personally I use Maru lube. It’s really good and I recommend it to any cuber.

Depends on how much is in there. If it's oozing or completely soaked, then yeah you have to clean it out. If it's just left over you're good to go.

I used cubicle silicone lube weight 2 on my Gan Um. I thought it speeds up the cube but it slowed it down and also didn't make it feel very smooth. Which lubes should I use to make it turn smooth/light/fast. I was about to irder dnm but is the silk better for smoothness?

It mostly cleans/lubes the same way, just try to not get any lube on the stickers.
i unscrew the screws and springs and clean the 'center' pieces and put olive oil cuz i dont have lube and worked out awesome
it was soo good that it could corner cut 45 degree angle (before it couldnt corner cut) and overall it worked great ( speed,sound,smothness etc)
