Honestly it’s pretty wholesome that Grenda, a girl who would typically been seen as masculine because of her voice, ended up being the only one of the three girls to be a in a long term relationship.
When I first watched it as a kid, her voice definitely caught me off guard, but she really is very feminine. Unfortunately, some people just get hit by puberty like speeding trucks. This show came out when I was 8, and once I hit puberty, I finally understood why Grenda is the way she is.
“Come ooooonnn, my mom’s age-inappropriate romance novels aren’t gonna read themselves!” I had completely glossed over this joke, still cannot believe what Alex Hirsch managed to get away with working at Disney. In *2012* . I love Gravity Falls.
Assuming alex was also a 80s kids, A lot of 80s kids used to read books meant for an older audience, that being genres like horror, romance, etc. Remember how my uncle used to talk how he had to hide horror books like carrie back then cause it wasnt age appropiate for him
