During WIN era, I was incredibly obsessed with Team B and was so so angry that the winner was Team A. I was so blinded by the hip hop vibe and the explosive dance performances that Team B showed. But while waiting for news on Team B, I rewatched Who Is Next and I started to appreciate Winner so much. I spent days watching them their songs with eng subs, and I cried buckets in the case of Officially Missing You and Go Up. I payed close attention to their dance routines and realized how amazingly subtle they are. A small shake of the shoulders and a short jump. The way they transition is amazing and their facial expressions are superb (especially Seunghoon)! I watched their final dance performance and I don't think I've ever cried so hard in my life. It was so amazingly melancholic and their movements just hit me right in the feels. Winner's performances aren't just performances. They are arts. Then they debuted and put out mellow songs which kinda piss me off because holy shit you're under YG why are you singing slow songs? But you know what, I pushed past those constricted ways of mine and listened to those songs anyways. And I love it! I love it even more when I looked up the lyrics! I keep going back to their performances again and again and they always make me feel weird things every single time, unlike Team B's performances who's explosiveness erodes after time. But still, iKon will be good for YG. It'll be a great performaning group, something YG doesn't have, what's with having members who can compose and choreographs and some hardcore dancers and amazingly talented vocalists (I'm looking at you Goo Junhwe). Hopefully the boys can officially collaborate on stages and slay the mothereffing charts; after Bigbang slayed it first though.
Ria Sokun I was exactly in the same position as you. Initially, I was so angry that Team A won. I did not understand why Koreans loved Team A so much. I thought it was because they are all so good looking and that pissed me off even more. Then I heard their debut album. I was blown away by several songs on that album, especially Smile Again. I thought it sounded familiar and I didn't realize it was the same song that they sang in WIN. I looked up the lyrics to each song and I couldn't believe what I was reading and hearing. These boys have a knack for hitting you right where it hurts, right in the feels. Unlike Big Bang, with their catchy songs and hooks, Winner is all about the lyrics and the message. You miss it the first time because of the language barrier. I re-watched all of WIN this time paying very close attention to what they were saying in their songs. I love Team A. I love Winner. I wish more people knew more about them so that YG can let them out of the dungeon. I am revisiting all of their videos again because I miss them so much. I am happy Big Bang is back but when will I get to see this amazing group again?

I can't wait for Show Me the Money. Mino will be awesome on that show. I love Seungyoon but playing Dara's love interest makes me feel a little sick. They are like siblings. Namdiva's webdrama is pretty good tho.

As someone who never watched Win but is now watching this, I find it so interesting. Winner has come a very long way~ they put so much effort and soul into each performance. They worked tirelessly to end up where they are today. I didn't realize how much dance was performed; I guess stage presence is key to a performance and this showcases their talents in that area. team A last dance was totally an art!!its original its meaningful!!they had prove their own color despite the stereotype of their company label. they had show everyone who they are and who they want to be seen. well done Seunghoon,totally an artist

I find it really uncomfortable to see this hahahaha...I've seen them on WIN but now that they debuted they all look so dashing and chic that I cant imagine seeing them dancing all swaggy like...but im impressed I never thought they were this good in dancing...I always preferred team B's dancing because they're all energetic but now I realize that team A had more of the artistic vibe and I can feel each of their individuality which team B lacked, now I want to see WINNER dance like this...maybe for their comeback...I think it'd be awesome

I loved ever choreo of the songs they did especially wedding dress had me speechless and gasping when i first saw it!! Seunghoon is One of the most gifted person ever..I admire and adore him...p.s all the members can dance so its easy for him :D Winner Fighting!!!
Originally, I preferred Team B over Team A. But watching their performances during the live battles, I saw the talent and color of each member of Team A. Seriously, these guys are very talented. Aside from Jinwoo, the four guys excel in not only one aspect and it's truly amazing how they managed to bring forth the strengths of each other despite the vast differences in their genres and personality. From making their songs to their choreography, these guys are simply amazing.
I'm not bashing Jinwoo please. I only said that cause based on talent alone, the other four excel in other areas of specialty. Don't get me wrong. Jinwoo's singing voice is to die for. But we gotta admit that the other four are good in other areas such as choreographing dances and composing songs while Jinwoo is only good in singing. He has potential in acting if he trains more. Again, I am not bashing Jinwoo. I'm stating facts but that doesn't mean that he does not deserve to be in Winner. Each one of them deserves the spot that they're in and I'm happy with all of them.
You think? I actually see Jinwoo as a really good dancer too. The only thing he lacks, at least for me, is the ability of writing lyrics and composing in general; I hope he improves in the future, so we can listen to his thoughts through music, perhaps the other members will help him with that. However, I think the best we can do is support him (and all of them) and make him feel more confident about taking the initiative.
Riscia Nadura Similar to how most people used to think about Seungri in Big Bang, Jinwoo's worth is much more than just talent alone. He is the heart of Winner, while Seungri is the fun of Big Bang. People are taking offense to what you are saying, not because we feel like proving Jinwoo's worth to anyone, but because with what you said, you are missing the whole point of why YG kept Jinwoo. Remember, Jinwoo was the longest trainee and clearly lacking in the skills department. He is not fooling anyone. He says so himself. Yes, he is not as talented as the other four... but in other ways he is the most important member of Winner. He is the peace keeper, the hard worker, the optimist and the good heart. The other four members are his limbs. You may survive if you are missing a limb but you will never survive if you are missing a heart. In Winner, all the members are so different with such strong personalities. I can't even imagine all of them getting along in the same room let alone function as a singing unit if it weren't for Jinwoo.

Honestly, I like team a's choreography better compared to team b. For one, their moves are more original credits to Seunghoon. Second, they were able to show their real color and versatility through their dance. It's sad that during WIN, their dance performances were not appreciated unlike team b. Although, I have to admit in terms of energy and synchronization, team b really wins in those area but no offense to B.I. (I love Hanbin though) he copied a lot of their moves from ABDC. I'd say WINNER is really amazing because even though dancing 'hardcore hiphop' wasn't really their forte (which is I think is standard YG style of dance), they were able to deliver well in their every performances. And yes, I do miss them dancing a lot too. Anyways, Seunghoon is now officially my most favorite YG dancer. He's a true artist and a genius!
Yea I agree. And I just recently realized that team A's choreography is original and that team b get their inspiration from ABDC. Both are good when you look at them from different perspectives and have their own strength in different areas. Team A are original and their dancing is heartfelt while Team B is very entertaining to watch and fun
I just realized it too.., team A is more artistic and original, while team b is explosive and fun... actually team B dance moves are repetitive and in the end it will get boring. but kudos for team b synchronization. not surprised tho because team B is formed waaaaaaaaayyyy earlier than Team A. team b is what brought me to watch WIN, but i ended up love team A more because of their originality and heartfelt songs. team b only succeed in climax because they can bring their own story in the song and even make me tear up. but honestly, overall team A songs are more memorable and more harmonious. winner i always wish u guys a very very good luck and bright future, please win mama!! YG, please support your middle child, please be fair. ikon, please give us good music!! winner n ikon fans please support each other.
Yeah! I honestly like Team B performances more because they always gave this strong and cool hip hop feel. But if compare the choreograph, I prefer Team A more since their move were so unique and creative.
nothing is original it's just the way people interpret it. While I love Seungoon's dance style it doesn't seem to fit his members all that well, plus he's not all that dynamic. Either way he's a breath of fresh air to all those other groups who do the same type of dance. If he learns transitions as well as leveling man would he excel. I hope to see his choreo more especially as he matures.
i just realized how stupid this show was. they divided two totally different type of musical group and put them against each other. like chocolate vs pizza. i've realized how different these two gorups were.
Team A is more emotional and tounched~ . Besides, SM and JYP company have real telented dancers and choreographers. YG's Choreography is not the strongest. Original ideas are more important !!
OK, I'm here and watching all of WINNER'S video on youtube before they comeback on 11.1.2016!!! I didn't watch WIN, i just being a IC after they debut, I thought that they a ballad group so they can't dance, but that opinion being changed when I watch this, they movements are daebak!!!
I dont really know why is everybody saying that Winner is not good at dancing..... I dont really know about dancing but watching them its like *-* I love ikon too and I think they are both good dancers :3 I just hope winner releases a very hype song *with a strong choreo* so they can show all the potencial they have and show their different talents.... they are AMAZING with slow songs *the reason why I felt 4 them*
Thank you for this compilation!!! It's so much easier than going episode by episode. (But I did itTeam A/Winner for the Win lol) Granted I loved Team B (iKon) for the synchronized dancing. But I give credit where it's due, & Seunghoon for his original choreography. I can't imagine how hard it would be to do that for people w/varying levels of dancing ability. It seriously blew my mind.
iKON might be the better dancers but what I felt from Winner is the originality in their choreography. Props to Seunghoon who's always working to build the team's choreography and improvement in it
I remember the first time I saw WIN after WINNER won the show and I didn't know anything about them, I thought they were really creative and of course it's because they have imagination and individuality. I'm a happy IC since 2014 because they exist, thank you to the ACES back then for giving them the title of WINNER!

Winner is so good at isolations. They should just do that....ANDDDDD it fits they personality and their music. Jabbawockees were my favorite dance group growing up and they did nothing but isolations.
But during that time BI was the one choreographing for Team B. You can't say they are not original. But Hanbin has always been loaded with stuff at a very young age. He leads, choreographs,raps and compose for the groups. That's a whole lot of responsibility. Plus you can see how IKon's choreo becomes so creative in time.

Its for the 1st time I see their performance once at a time like this. I like it cause when I'll try to compare where they are on WIN with team B: Team A definitely not greater than team B with all the perfection move on time and enthusiastic. But one thing that very important noticed here, team A filled their dance with more emotion & sincerity. Watch their performance like a story behind the song and almost like musical and theater show with their moves looks like have melody. I think its because team A mostly know much about musically, how to write, how to arrange, how to mixing n how to produce. While on team B not all member understand that quietly enough. Team A have reference more colourful and wide, sounds like more flexible for many genre. I think team B has that reference too for member that have sweet voice but I think team B had been shape like that and cant be change cause their not strong enough personally to push up himself up to other 3 former members that already have hiphop blood even the left member can improve their ability to sing. It's sad cause now what I see from WIN - M&M, 4 left member looks like back up for 3 lead former member. For example Seungri on BB, his voice not sound too strong or powerful to fill up onto BB's song but he has strong power of charm and personality to push up himself as well as other members from the first their appearance.
Recently got into Winner and Ikon fandom but never watched win. I know they have different styles, but i did not expect winner to be excellent dancers! They need to have more songs that they can dance to in 2016 pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseee (no offense, i like their ballads but they need to show off their dancing skills)
I didn't know Winner had dance talent. But I'm kind of the approach they have taken with their group concept, how it is focused on vocals and not choreography. Because I feel like they are more authentic artists when they sing songs like Empty and don't use a bunch of choreo.
I love ikon more in the dance aspect but Seunghoon is amazing! Really talented in dance, however I think only him and Minho can truly do a hip hop song and not look awkward. I love the dances from the team when it's more of a mid tempo because all can blend in well.
I've always felt bad for the member that creates all of their dances. I think he's stuck not showing off his full potential due to the kind of songs they had last time and the fact that the members aren't all on the same level dance wise so he ends up scaling back his choreo a lot so they can focus on their vocals.
I'm somehow happy that today Lee Seunghoon's talents are starting to be recognised by other people. But I can't help to ask for more. Don't sleep on Seunghoon please. He has a lot to offer.

make me corious what if team A has more time to practice their move in each battle.. because creating choreo is not an easy task while in the other hand team B take some of other choreographer's move so they could save more time to practice their detail and their dance synchronization

So where is this dancing in Winner today? I liked their songs that they debuted with but I had no idea they could dance this well (I never followed WIN closely). I wonder if they're frustrated with the hand-fluttering choreo they do now instead of this. I still find Team B/iKON to be more mindblowing performance-wise but I'm impressed by Seunghoon's choreo, it's really creative and feels like it has a story.
Most of the songs on their debut album are slow, it doesn't require such an elaborated coreography and seunghoon said he made the choreos to allow the other members to sing easily.

A bit sad about not got much "like" on this Dance Compilation, They're so talented. Team B is the greatest performance for Dance, maybe Team B age so young seems like too confidently nothing to lose, They look the same as hip hop dancer. but, for me Team A dance performance is absolutely touched my heart.
Winner and Ikon have very different style of music!! Winner is a little bit more ballad and cute while Ikon is more hip hop and badass!! I am glad that both are debuting (debuted)
Trang Hoang They are not ballad. If I need to use one word to describe them, I can probably use a million other words and ballad will not be one of them. Hip Hop, Trance, Dance, none of those will be one either because you cannot typecast Winner. They are versatile and can do everything. To be quite honest, I have not heard anyone in Winner do a ballad.

Too bad he's the worst rapper lol. Team B has a team of dancers though. Only 2 of them are power vocalist (Jinhwan and junhoe) the rest are non-stand-alone bgm vocals basically but both rappers are amazing. The only thing wrong with Team A vocals is jinwoo. Rapping is all done by minho. But they have 2 solid singers. They could've been a power team together and be the next big bang. Just get rid of donghyuk and chanwoo and jinwoo and seunghoon (lyrically) .
Jesus Christ lady, Ikon is going to debut next year. Maybe you should wait for them to do so and sing your praises to them when they do rather than complaining on a WINNER video. 'Fans' are so rude sometimes. Fyi there are no more Team A and Team B anymore, as well as they still work together but you wouldnt know that.
If you noticed, team a improved a lot from episode one to episode 10. Team b was good at dancing but singing definitely goes to team a. Team b kinda lack vocal skills and losing to team a help them find each other's talent and color.

winner is a good group they can create their own dance move most of their dance move is origianl, unlike ikon most of their dance move is from other group but they also have their original maybe 40 % of dance perfromance, but the thing is winner dance perfromance is like cover ver.they look like they just cover their own original move unlike ikon who is more look like original, they own the dance move that they copy to other group. that's why ikon is always the winner in dance performance., so stop hating ikon.

The only thing he lacks, at least for me, is the ability of writing lyrics and composing in general; I hope he improves in the future, so we can listen to his thoughts through music, perhaps the other members will help him with that. However, I think the best we can do is support him (and all of them) and make him feel more confident about taking the initiative.
Riscia Nadura Similar to how most people used to think about Seungri in Big Bang, Jinwoo's worth is much more than just talent alone. He is the heart of Winner, while Seungri is the fun of Big Bang. People are taking offense to what you are saying, not because we feel like proving Jinwoo's worth to anyone, but because with what you said, you are missing the whole point of why YG kept Jinwoo. Remember, Jinwoo was the longest trainee and clearly lacking in the skills department. He is not fooling anyone. He says so himself. Yes, he is not as talented as the other four... but in other ways he is the most important member of Winner. He is the peace keeper, the hard worker, the optimist and the good heart. The other four members are his limbs. You may survive if you are missing a limb but you will never survive if you are missing a heart. In Winner, all the members are so different with such strong personalities. I can't even imagine all of them getting along in the same room let alone function as a singing unit if it weren't for Jinwoo.

Honestly, I like team a's choreography better compared to team b. For one, their moves are more original credits to Seunghoon. Second, they were able to show their real color and versatility through their dance. It's sad that during WIN, their dance performances were not appreciated unlike team b. Although, I have to admit in terms of energy and synchronization, team b really wins in those area but no offense to B.I. (I love Hanbin though) he copied a lot of their moves from ABDC. I'd say WINNER is really amazing because even though dancing 'hardcore hiphop' wasn't really their forte (which is I think is standard YG style of dance), they were able to deliver well in their every performances. And yes, I do miss them dancing a lot too. Anyways, Seunghoon is now officially my most favorite YG dancer. He's a true artist and a genius!
Yea I agree. And I just recently realized that team A's choreography is original and that team b get their inspiration from ABDC. Both are good when you look at them from different perspectives and have their own strength in different areas. Team A are original and their dancing is heartfelt while Team B is very entertaining to watch and fun
I just realized it too.., team A is more artistic and original, while team b is explosive and fun... actually team B dance moves are repetitive and in the end it will get boring. but kudos for team b synchronization. not surprised tho because team B is formed waaaaaaaaayyyy earlier than Team A.
team b is what brought me to watch WIN, but i ended up love team A more because of their originality and heartfelt songs. team b only succeed in climax because they can bring their own story in the song and even make me tear up. but honestly, overall team A songs are more memorable and more harmonious.

Yeah! I honestly like Team B performances more because they always gave this strong and cool hip hop feel. But if compare the choreograph, I prefer Team A more since their move were so unique and creative.
Do take note that Team A was choreograph it by scratch. Team B took some reference of other dance group and just edited some of it.
nothing is original it's just the way people interpret it. While I love Seungoon's dance style it doesn't seem to fit his members all that well, plus he's not all that dynamic. Either way he's a breath of fresh air to all those other groups who do the same type of dance. If he learns transitions as well as leveling man would he excel. I hope to see his choreo more especially as he matures.
Their dance to Please Don't Stop The Music truly moves me every time I watch it. It really shows how much they grew during the show.

OK, I'm here and watching all of WINNER'S video on youtube before they comeback on 11.1.2016!!! I didn't watch WIN, i just being a IC after they debut, I thought that they a ballad group so they can't dance, but that opinion being changed when I watch this, they movements are daebak!!!

Thank you for this compilation!!! It's so much easier than going episode by episode. (But I did itTeam A/Winner for the Win lol) Granted I loved Team B (iKon) for the synchronized dancing. But I give credit where it's due, & Seunghoon for his original choreography. I can't imagine how hard it would be to do that for people w/varying levels of dancing ability. It seriously blew my mind.

I remember the first time I saw WIN after WINNER won the show and I didn't know anything about them, I thought they were really creative and of course it's because they have imagination and individuality.
I'm a happy IC since 2014 because they exist, thank you to the ACES back then for giving them the title of WINNER!
Team A looks like they have a unique and original style, team B in my opinion looks like just another hip-hop boy group.
Team A is very special and distinct from every group out there
and so is team B.

Winner is so good at isolations. They should just do that....ANDDDDD it fits they personality and their music. Jabbawockees were my favorite dance group growing up and they did nothing but isolations.

But during that time BI was the one choreographing for Team B. You can't say they are not original. But Hanbin has always been loaded with stuff at a very young age. He leads, choreographs,raps and compose for the groups. That's a whole lot of responsibility. Plus you can see how IKon's choreo becomes so creative in time.

Its for the 1st time I see their performance once at a time like this. I like it cause when I'll try to compare where they are on WIN with team B:
Team A definitely not greater than team B with all the perfection move on time and enthusiastic. But one thing that very important noticed here, team A filled their dance with more emotion & sincerity. Watch their performance like a story behind the song and almost like musical and theater show with their moves looks like have melody. I think its because team A mostly know much about musically, how to write, how to arrange, how to mixing n how to produce. While on team B not all member understand that quietly enough.
Team A have reference more colourful and wide, sounds like more flexible for many genre. I think team B has that reference too for member that have sweet voice but I think team B had been shape like that and cant be change cause their not strong enough personally to push up himself up to other 3 former members that already have hiphop blood even the left member can improve their ability to sing. It's sad cause now what I see from WIN - M&M, 4 left member looks like back up for 3 lead former member. For example Seungri on BB, his voice not sound too strong or powerful to fill up onto BB's song but he has strong power of charm and personality to push up himself as well as other members from the first their appearance.
Recently got into Winner and Ikon fandom but never watched win. I know they have different styles, but i did not expect winner to be excellent dancers! They need to have more songs that they can dance to in 2016 pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseee (no offense, i like their ballads but they need to show off their dancing skills)

I didn't know Winner had dance talent. But I'm kind of the approach they have taken with their group concept, how it is focused on vocals and not choreography. Because I feel like they are more authentic artists when they sing songs like Empty and don't use a bunch of choreo.

I love ikon more in the dance aspect but Seunghoon is amazing! Really talented in dance, however I think only him and Minho can truly do a hip hop song and not look awkward. I love the dances from the team when it's more of a mid tempo because all can blend in well.

I've always felt bad for the member that creates all of their dances. I think he's stuck not showing off his full potential due to the kind of songs they had last time and the fact that the members aren't all on the same level dance wise so he ends up scaling back his choreo a lot so they can focus on their vocals.

So where is this dancing in Winner today? I liked their songs that they debuted with but I had no idea they could dance this well (I never followed WIN closely). I wonder if they're frustrated with the hand-fluttering choreo they do now instead of this. I still find Team B/iKON to be more mindblowing performance-wise but I'm impressed by Seunghoon's choreo, it's really creative and feels like it has a story.
Most of the songs on their debut album are slow, it doesn't require such an elaborated coreography and seunghoon said he made the choreos to allow the other members to sing easily.
But they excel in singing! I rather see them singing songs like Empty than see them singing, it's just that the vocals are so amazing

A bit sad about not got much "like" on this Dance Compilation, They're so talented. Team B is the greatest performance for Dance, maybe Team B age so young seems like too confidently nothing to lose, They look the same as hip hop dancer. but, for me Team A dance performance is absolutely touched my heart.
Winner and Ikon have very different style of music!! Winner is a little bit more ballad and cute while Ikon is more hip hop and badass!! I am glad that both are debuting (debuted)
Trang Hoang They are not ballad. If I need to use one word to describe them, I can probably use a million other words and ballad will not be one of them. Hip Hop, Trance, Dance, none of those will be one either because you cannot typecast Winner. They are versatile and can do everything. To be quite honest, I have not heard anyone in Winner do a ballad.
When she talks about ballad I think she is talking about the contemporary dances

Seunghoon is the best dancer by far in yg.
Too bad he's the worst rapper lol. Team B has a team of dancers though. Only 2 of them are power vocalist (Jinhwan and junhoe) the rest are non-stand-alone bgm vocals basically but both rappers are amazing. The only thing wrong with Team A vocals is jinwoo. Rapping is all done by minho. But they have 2 solid singers. They could've been a power team together and be the next big bang. Just get rid of donghyuk and chanwoo and jinwoo and seunghoon (lyrically) .

Jesus Christ lady, Ikon is going to debut next year. Maybe you should wait for them to do so and sing your praises to them when they do rather than complaining on a WINNER video. 'Fans' are so rude sometimes. Fyi there are no more Team A and Team B anymore, as well as they still work together but you wouldnt know that.
If you noticed, team a improved a lot from episode one to episode 10. Team b was good at dancing but singing definitely goes to team a. Team b kinda lack vocal skills and losing to team a help them find each other's talent and color.

winner is a good group they can create their own dance move most of their dance move is origianl, unlike ikon most of their dance move is from other group but they also have their original maybe 40 % of dance perfromance, but the thing is winner dance perfromance is like cover ver.they look like they just cover their own original move unlike ikon who is more look like original, they own the dance move that they copy to other group. that's why ikon is always the winner in dance performance., so stop hating ikon.
