50 Cent didnt pop of f over night . He had already dropped an album called Power of the Dollar on Colimbia records but it was shelved when he was shot . It was his mix tapes that got him the attention of Eminem . Then he got the Interscope deal and then he Popped off fr overnight success took about 7 years of graft Still loving the NYC vids . Resp3ct for making it to his house 😎
Great video, I had a similar experience when I travelled to see a mate living in Detroit in 2008 and visited Hitsville the home of Motown, to be able to walk inside a building that so many musical Legends have recorded in was magical and well worth the bargain $12 entrance fee.
True story Wendell, I travelled to New York last year and tried to do it on the cheap, I ended up staying in an Airbnb in South Jamaica , I experienced my first cockroach , how lovely 😂 i’ve got the hell out of there and booked into a hotel in midtown Manhattan , it’s surreal to see you there and I was only there last year , sorry for the long comment but great video 🙌😎

Ahh legendary mate! Great video, ngl I’m jealous you’ve been to 50’s hood and seen where he grew up haha buzzing for you that you’ve been able to experience that! Keep up the great content
Brilliant video, brother.. You're exactly like me. Wendall, it's the best food you ever had. Every time you try something ❤ Much love, bro . I look forward to the next. 😊
Great video Wendal, the Jamaican food place looked tasty and the people were nice, all the interactions you filmed seemed quite positive unlike alot of people in the UK always suspicious of the camera!😂, that last guy in the car outside 50s old house could be one of his lovechilds cause he looked like a young 50 cent lol!😂👍
Another great video. I lived in the hood (not in NYC) for years and the best part is the community you have where everyone is looking out for each other and are friendly. You treat people respectfully and you'll be fine.
Just randomly came across this channel I’m from Walsall area you sound local to me haha love these vids I wanna travel like this one day and experience all the different cultures. That trailer park had me howling tho reminds me of 8 mile
I grew up in Jamaica. It’s always been a middle class type of neighborhood but with many problems. It’s got a bad reputation but there’s good hard working people that live there, but you do need to be strong and be street smart. Recently it’s gotten gentrified, like every other hood in the city. I guess with the high cost of living everywhere, investor set their eyes on Jamaica and started renovating property to rent out. So it looks pretty decent now, compared to how it looked in the 90’s. With that said, it’s still the hood and pretty much the same people live there with the same bs, so always best to be aware and try to avoid any sketchy situations.
I love Jamaican food and people. Been a couple times to the island and frequent the local restaurants in the states. One spot in Jamaica was a family place near Montego Bay and they let us pick our free range chicken for dinner. As fresh as it gets. Amazing meal and kindest people ever.
love and look forward to both of your videos so much, myself I grew p through 50's career so admire his music from my youth! is there a donation thing on here somehow?

I stayed in apartment 226 st james place in brooklyn's clinton hill. It was cool :) New york is doing it.. the people are great too :) Great video :)

Wow I’m in the uk and always wanted to do just what you’ve done the stuff most people from the uk go to America for doesn’t interest me lol, I want to see places like this as well as elvis presleys place and also do a bus tour on areas Tupac lived ect found out via google that’s a thing. Loved the video mate
Everyone seems very friendly over there in New York. Not like in England where there is almost always some misery guts telling you shouldn't be filming 😂 As I would of expected a way more friendlier and chilled vibe there
It is much easier to get people on camera in US. As a general rule I’d say: 4/5 decline to be on film in UK, prob only 1/5 decline in US. Very open people 🇺🇸

Sorry mate but 'In Da Club' was NOT the song that changed 50s life. The man was dropping mixtape after mixtape for years before that haha
It’s definitely the record that made him a megastar stop it
Not only is 50 Cent a great rapper, he also called out Puffy before everyone else... he's the real McCoy.

i genuinley thought that area would have been allot more hostile , cool to see people there are friendly
Me too, but to be honest was the most laid back of all the NY hoods I visited
Jamaica Queens has been gentrified. It's hip and trendy, not a hood anymore...
