The 2 scutes on the board see the lands enter and since all lands enter the same time only those 2 scutes trigger so it should have only been 14 scutes
It not reads "when one or more lands enters" but "whenever a land enters", so doesn't matter they enter at the same time; the trigger goes off for each one of them: each token created will see the subsequent land entering play.
@@ML7WL The lands all enter at the same time meaning the Trigger goes on the stack X amount of times where X is the number of lands coming in, meaning it would NOT make 2 scutes, then 4, then 8 so on.
As soon as Matt mentioned Redwall, I went to dust off the books and will now reread the series again. These books will always remain as my childhood adventure!
Small misplay on mattt’s part. His last turn he could have flashback the Divine Reckoning to handle the scutes. Good game though! Love watching you guys sling cardboard!
I saw the first seven pop up and I thought that was how many lands you had in your hand. The second one was the realization that it was just hand size.
I don't think I've ever been as excited for a card as I am for Lumra. It's a day 1 include in my Mycotyrant and Muldrotha decks, and the alt art is being done by the legendary Pokemon TCG artist, Arita (OG Charizard card)!
Gosh, that bear is nasty. It shows why mono-green decks slap lol. It sucks that Nates deck didn't get to do anything after that board wipe. He seemed so threatening after that turn! Hopefully, in the rematch, he gets to pop off! 🤞
I know it's really not that relevant, but interesting fact, you can't use hammer of nazahn on equipment creatures because the reconfigure ability makes the creature, and that's what allows it to be equipped to a creature.
Actually you can still attach the equipment "An Equipment creature with reconfigure can be attached to creatures by effects other than its reconfigure ability, such as the activated ability of Brass Squire. " In this case Hammer triggered abilty.
why not kill the Lumra player with the sword of forge and frontier equipped?? (at around 20:03) they couldnt block bc of protection from green right EDIT: yea what a way to throw the game

that's exactly what i was thinking, kind of surprised they play that incorrectly

God the bear is so brutal. Each of these seems funny but definitely like the otter and the bear the most

The bam-fuckin-boozling of the second archdruid charm 😂

Command beacon and sac outlet with that bear would be insane
Thank You. "Shred that Gnar-Gnar" Was one of the squares on my 2024 Bingo Card.
Really excited for this set
Us too!
Love the redwall idea. Now with the series out I am using arthur for my mouse with sword antics
Also a fan of Redwall in my youth. This set has all those vibes
I actually am so excited for bloomburrow, hopefully the set it fun

Nice!
@@TheDankestDungeon Mirror pool Command Beacon Lumra...Zuran orb for more fun.
I'm putting Bria in my Veyrun deck, that is a crazy card
the bear reminds me of the temur landfall deck in standard 😬
Happy to see Jason managed to win despite getting ganged up on :)
I'm not sure if he had enough mana but he should have flashbacked divine reckoning.

Yeah, he kind of killed his own momentum, but you gotta do what you gotta do!
I love how even in a show where they read every card as they play it. No one ever mentions birgi's second ability.

I'm surprised Matt didn't explode all your lands this time. GGs

EDIT: yea what a way to throw the game
Wtf we already have bloomburrow cards?
They were spoilers a while ago. Probably at a Con.
