I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.
i love how you talked about how yeosang is more confident in dancing than he was back then because looking back you can really tell how much he’s accomplished in under 2 years. he wasn’t really confident with his singing either which is why he got less lines than the other members but i feel like starting from answer era he got more confident. i was really proud to see him have the chorus in horizon and even if he doesn’t have the chorus this comeback, you can see that he has a lot more lines than in like wonderland era. ❤️ (it still amazes me how ateez are still a rookie group yet they have always had good dancing skills since debut 😳)

The high note at the beginning of the last chorus is done by Seonghwa and jongho, they did amazing
Only in the explanation of the high note (the first) is Seonghwa with Jongho, the rest of the note is made by Jongho alone. You can hear how in the explosion two voices are heard and the rest only the voice of Jongho. This from the first high note since the second is done by Jongho alone. And in live both high notes are made by Jongho alone.
Hala Hala yes I know that, but they do do the high note together, all the others are done by jongho and they sound amazing, they all did a great job with this comeback
Yeah I can't believe people forgotten that Seonghwa can actually do highnote like in UTOPIA, so far Seonghwa and Jongho is the only one who can sing highnote in1 year and 6 months of career of Ateez I hope also that I can see the other members to their highnote hehehehe.
Kit-Kat Mallows I believe San could as well. Correct me if I’m wrong but I remember them playing a game on a variety show and I believe San was able to hold the highest note out of all the members. Additionally, I believe that Star 1117 also showcases San’s amazing high notes.

This might be a bit irrelevant but Ateez just won their First Win with Inception earlier!! 😊🎉And I'm so proud that our fandom can finally give them their 3rd music show win after the last two comebacks with no wins at all :( And yes, this comeback just brought such a breakthrough, they have achieved and broke so much records in just the first week of their album release! I'm just so happy seeing how much they've grown in just a span of 1 year and 6 months, it makes me emotional. Ayways, thank you for this another Ateez reaction jeff! I enjoyed it.

honestly the best thing about their dancing in general is that none of them strictly follow the script, all of them add something on their own and yet execute the choreo well and it makes them look so natural and not like robots

You're right, I noticed that every member has a different choreo in every Ateez song, but they're still very syncrhonized.
This might be one of their least "intense" choreo, in other song, their choreography are really energetic and "crazy" with lots of "vibration moves", but this song is more elegant and beautiful
Well this is a new concept after all. They’re starting a new concept which is why they are kind of different now from their energetic and crazy moves back during the treasure era where it was all about this badass pirate concept.
Inception is rising up to be one of my favorite ateez songs. While Fever (their b-side) doesn’t have a dance practice yet, there are many stages that they perform on. You should react to one of them!

This is the what I have been waiting for, I am an NCT bias however I love Ateez. I haven't watched the video yet. But o always appreciate your opinions and you are absolutely honest. Guys, I learned how San had such great kicks on stage and how he was so flexible, boneless. It turns out that his father was a taekwondo instructor. San had a level 3 black belt. Wow Choi San, is there anything you can't do? Indeed, the best performer of the 4th generation, San. It is great that he feels the gestures, the dance and the song, that he dances like a movie, does not hesitate to do anything, does whatever he wants to do. He is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in real life. So you still missed San's jump. Lol You were probably looking at Jongho hitting the high note at the end. He leaps from a standing position then does that "fall" to the side. It's at the end of the choreo.

aaaaa i think this is one of my favorite choreos from them, the theatrics in it are SO cool. i dont watch fancams often but for inception im looking closely at all of them because their expressions and movements are just... amazing. especially san and seonghwa, they're next level here. also I'd say their recent contemporary training is rlly being showcased which is so cool!!
I honestly tried to do Yeosang's part after the chorus. It was so hard and easy at the same time though😬
I honestly thought it was easy to do, but then i realized how barely anyone in the dance covers were able to emulate the same way, it is really hard to do, the people who cover it do not give the same vibes as yeosang does when he does that move (no hate to the dancers of course, they are all talented)
