    Brilliant!!! Thank you for this. I've generally been leaving mistakes, but only because I didn't notice them until I had woven a bit, haha. Thank you for this.

      Susan, you're welcome! And I have no problem leaving a mistake - it is fabulously handwoven, after all!! Keep up the great work!!

    After my experience using string heddles on a heddle rod for my rigid heddle loom I would suggest just a tiny dot of glue on each knot. That way nothing comes undone later while weaving.

      Very smart! Great suggestion!

    So easy! I added in an actual heddle last night. Wiring it to the shaft. This would have been so much easier.

    Aha!! This explains the mysterious homemade heddles (made of thread) that someone left on the shaft of my new-to-me loom. I was mystified about why anyone would make their own, when there are literally hundreds of heddles on the 4 shafts. Mystery solved!

    • @ActonCreative
      @ActonCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, brilliant!!! That's so nice to have them ready to go for when you need them!

      @@ActonCreative Also very reassuring that there's not something wrong with my shafts / heddles, lol. I was a bit nonplussed about the string ones.

    Hi, I'm just here to know what the hell heddle means and what it looks like, but I left a like and comment😁
