Soldiers coming home - Sailor surprises Mom for Christmas

- After weeks of planning our Sailor gets to surprise Mom during a family weekend trip to Big Bear Lake in CA. She was sure that he wasn't going to be home this Christmas. Little does she realize He will be home for Christmas. And a special thank you Denny's in Big Bear for helping us make the surprise come together. She really thinks that she's looking at a Photoshop type app that adds people into the picture. Everyone is in on the surprise except of coarse mom. I picked up my son the night before from the airport and we got together with the family and did some careful planning. Grand Daughter (Quinn) was with her uncle for the last 16hrs and was just trying to talk to him and show him the cut out that was made of him. The hard part was trying to keep her attention forward. Watch her Lol!. This is our special Christmas gift to Mom.

Quinn is so special to us. She loves her uncle. She had just spent the last 16hrs with him. Her mom sitting across the table trying so hard to keep her attention forward and and Quinn trying to show her uncle the cut out. Too funny!

My brother who’s a marine did this to my mom, he was supposed to be in Germany durning Christmas but showed up in his Dress Blues at a restaurant. It was a nice night and a man even payed for our whole bill for 6 people.

We have a new winner in the surprise your family category. This was so enjoyable. The little girl is breaking her neck to say HE'S RIGHT HERE! Yet the mom is loving the photoshops. Wow! That was too funny and loving.

Lots of planning! Later my wife thought about it and thinks that was odd that her daughter kept taking pics (when she normally doesn't like doing that) half of our group arrived at the restaurant 45 min ahead to ask the staff for assist. Thanks.

After watching this video more than once, I think it is the most touching video that I could totally relate as a mom. I would also believe about the App. My millennial kids had introduced me to different Apps and I would always believe on what they have to say. The surprise was really meant to happen cause even little Quinn trying to tell the mom he is just behind mommy...
