This video made my day, Fleur. Despite being a guy I've always loved having this kind of open and vulnerable conversation with my female friends. I've always felt a bit neglected by my male friends tho cause they're not willing to talk about these subjects, which makes this video feel like a real hug and a pat on the back. I do think that women and men can learn a lot with each other, if they're willing to share and that patriarchy fuck us all, although in a different way. Thank you again for the lovely video, Fleur!

Thank you Fleur for this honest and empowering talk🙏🏻💕I feel like stepping into womanhood confidently requires a supportive peer group, as well as the security from home to be free to explore and make mistakes, not constantly being in survival mode but being able to let creative soft energy flow. Didn't really have that all and I'm struggling calling myself a woman, even though I'm 23 I feel like I missed so many things teenagers do and it's too late to get into teen friend groups😅 anyone with a similar experience?
Yes, I definitely understand what you're saying. I'm also 23 (Edit: 24 now) and never went through things that the average teenager would so I'm like "Hmm, I guess I'm just an adult now, without teenager experiences"...

Such a good question! Like I mentioned I’m in a very privileged position in my experiences and I can only speak from my experience as a white, cis, european woman of course. I think it will forever remain essential to keep in mind historical, cultural, educational, religious etc etc contexts in mind! Acknowledging and respecting women’s differing experiences and identities is so, so crucial. I saw a quote a while ago that went like “if you see inequality as a ‘them’ problem - that’s the problem” and I think that about sums it up.

I just respect when women want safe women's spaces to talk about things amongst other women, y'know? the video was for girls, that's not my place to enter unless I'm invited. it was very educational and nice and I enjoyed listening. I'm also a transgender man, so as a child I grew up with some of the girls things. I also still get my period too- so I can relate to that struggle (and then some with dyphoria). although not for long, hopefully; access to trans healthcare is a bit hard to come by. but you're very right, it's good for men to get educated and talking about these things too :) 💙

Working in a problem-area-gym with lots of misogynistic males is peak patriarchy let me tell you. Hearing those gym buddies talk about how they are the strong provider of the family while I'm out there carrying the 45kg dumbbells they left in the other room with no offer of help always makes me so angry. When I show my upper body they look disgusted by my muscles but when I wear short pants they stare at my butt. When there are creepy clients they watch me struggle with them but only afterwards they say if I'm uncomfortable I can ask for help. My colleagues call me vegetable because they compare my physique to male athletes, but make sexist jokes. On the one hand I would embrace being in my feminine energy having someone care about me like a gentleman, on the other hand I feel like I can't ask for that because I have to fight for respect. It's so messed up
Tbf its a pretty 50/50 split between people that go the gym just being general narcisists or people actually there to better themselves.

I am a man that goes to the gym and I feel bad that you feel this way in a space that is supposed to be positive and uplifting. If you're open to advice I may have some that is helpful.

@@nanaisloved2736 First I'll say that I took liberties to watch one of your reels. You look great and personally I have seen way more muscular women in the gym. So, the fact that you're being harassed confuses me a bit. I could say "Just quit your job or quit the gym". True it may solve it, but it may not be practical. My experience has been that, when I see see a woman come into a gym with super tight shorts, I find myself having to practice way more restraint in where I look because it seems that wherever I look that person is there. Obviously, that because of me subconsciously looking for them. Males are very much visual creatures and so when someone is showing off every curve of their body it takes tremendous amount of restraint on the part of the guy not to look. On the other hand, when I see a women wearing pants, and more so with looser pants, I find that I am able to be more focused on what I do because I know there isn't that eye candy half way across the gym. Yes, guys should have the control to not stare and its creepy and disgusting if they do. My mother used to tell me this, "While one party may be at fault, no party is innocent". But It is your prerogative to wear what you would like. Another thing is starting a home gym. At least where I live, you can find used equipment for relatively cheap, and it does not take a whole lot of equipment to make a home gym. That is, if you have the space. Maybe finding another gym would be an option. Some place that is more uplifting would be worth a farther commute in my opinion. Its never fun to work out while people talk behind your back. Work is complicated and so are the relationships at work. Personally, I would try whatever to distance myself from them. Maybe taking break or lunch at a different time, or just choosing to just bluntly ignore them. I see being called stuck up a far less painful thing than ridicule for how you act and choose to portray yourself. Why seek respect from people who will not give it to you? I hope that some day you will find that gentleman that cares about you as a person and I also hope my advice may have been of some help. Best wishes

I'm a dude :D. I'm in the middle of two sisters, and we have a pretty good relationship (especially from what I hear of other siblings 😆). I've always thought that people care too much about things. What I mean by that is people get all hot and bothered/offended by things that, in all reality, don't matter! A really basic example of this is swearing. Swears are just words that people have chosen to be offended by, and I don't get that (I will say that slurs are a whole other thing). Any words can be used hatefully, not just swears, and swears can be used lovingly! I could go on and on about this, but I won't :D. Love all of your content, live well!

From watching, I learned how to be attentive towards the woman body and how it’s not all about the guy being pleasured and climaxing but the woman as well.. the only problem is, porn isn’t Intentionally teaching people those things, I just got lucky by catching on and then implying… Porn would be great if their intention was to educate rather than painting this false reality
