Followed Alex via his Thighs Club TH-cam channel shout out obv so am keen to hear his perspective on recent seasons. I was genuinely, thrilled, watching the Katusha boys on the TTT at the TdF last year and also seeing Alex 'Cummings-it-off-the-front TM at the ToB and allllmmmoossssstttt win the stage. Nice work here you two.
Pardon the focus issue but - quite clearly - the pinstripe T-shirt started to take on a life of its own during this interview. Sometimes calm and passive, other times sharp and focussed... (trust me, I noticed it after editing over 45 minutes of conversation)... - Rob
Only just happened on your channel Rob and really enjoying what I've seen so far. I picked-up a copy of Ride mag about 2004 followed by many more over subsequent years so I'm familiar with the quality of your work! Alex has a special place in my list of favourite cyclists as I used to ride through the village where he grew up on my training rides in 2009 and I also belonged to his local club but never met him. Great 3 series interviews. Regards from WA 👍
Thanks for the kind words. For me, all the interviews are interesting. But I’ll throw a few suggestions your way if you’re still looking around. The Jaksche chat is one of my favourites. Then: George Bennett is great fun. Daniel Oss is charming. Mike Woods very analytical. Ah... and please watch my Allan Peiper “racing again” clip. That’s a piece I’m proud of.
@@ride-media thanks Rob, I've already watched the Peiper one which was a great insight into the Team car and I'll check out your other stuff when I have time. I read a Peiper's Tale many years ago which is a great read. I've been riding on and off for about 42 years and just love bikes and riding, WA has some awesome cycling infrastructure, it's just a shame it gets so hot and windy in the Summer ! Anyway, all the best - Ja 🚴♂️
It ends rather abruptly... (But only a poor tradesman blames his tools... the flat battery - and spare - was my fault. Rob) Still, glad you liked it. He tells a good story, and there are still a few very cool interviews yet to come from last month... Stay tuned.
William Knowles - admire your enthusiasm but being the first to comment on RIDE Media posts... not really much of a challenge. (But thanks for sharing your energy.) Leave another comment once you’ve finished watching the interview, let me know what you think.

Really appreciated this well-informed series of interviews. Thank you.

Aerodynamics...... Fluid Dynamics
mezzler1 - I said aquadynamics, didn’t I? Thanks for picking that. Yes... fluid.
Alex has a great dry sense of humour
