IKR! a lot of his jokes are pretty witty IMO. For example: I got the Barbecue lit. Specifically the wheels. Hey Kate, where do you keep your casserole dishes? Why? The cat won't fit in the toaster. Sutelor! the gas is on. I forgot to light the oven. Oh well. Better late than never. KABOOM! Aww!........... Well I guess we'll have to order in. We had a Robin hood on Melmac. Did he take from the rich and give to the poor? No. He just stole the hoods of peoples' cars.
They need to have an ALF reunion. I love this show. I've been on youtube for a couple hours. Its midnight and i couldnt think of a better way to end the night than a great laugh from ALF. So funny.
There’s a lot more options for television now than back when ALF first aired and the broadcasters, especially on network broadcast television, are fighting for whatever little audiences they can still get. It’s all about what will get viewers and sponsors.
The funniest scene on Alf is where he is hiding under the Parents bed.Willie try's to scare him out from under the bed by jumping up and down. Alf says."Way to go Willie"
I think this tv serie brought one if not THE best christmas special ever made. If you love Alf i can really recommend the christmas special from season 2... It's an amazing piece of work in my opinion.
Guys, Alf is not missed as you say. He's with us as long as he lives in our hearts. The show ended twenty five years ago and look - we all still are here, we remember him and that's how he lives! He is our idol, he made our childhood and he will never go away because we'll never forget him! Every time I have a problem, I call Alf and the problem solves in hours that same day. Alf is a compass for us, a powerful one, by the way, and if we will believe he exists - he will exist! Just don't forget him and he won't be gone! Alf bless you!!!!
@@deionpehowdy Yeah, they're either not in the DVD set, or they were heavily censored, due to controversial themes. If you watch Toy Galaxy's history of Alf video, he mentions something like that.
still better than Married With Children. Every time a character walked on set they started to cheer for no reason. Although that started somewhere in season 4 or 5.
Well Married with Children was somewhat of a unique case, since the majority of the cast were very popular with audiences, though it did become very annoying in later seasons (even the castmembers sometimes became annoyed by it). But hey, at least it wasn't a track :).
Max Wright was so good. For me ALF (the series) is just him and Willie, and Paul Fusco said that... Of course I love Kate, Lynn and Brian...but the whole thing was about ALF and Willie.
Nice little collection... but the funniest thing would have to be the time ALF played with the Toaster and burned himself and ran around outside. At leat that's what was in my fuzzy recallection.
my flatmate and I used to try and get the VHS to pause at just the moment Andrea shifts her legs in the opening credits - we never managed to get the upskirt shot we were hoping for! How sad!! :o)
I wonder how much of Willie's anger and frustration towards Alf is Max Wright's actual anger and frustration towards Paul Fusco bleeding through into his performance.
Very likely considering what Wright and all the other cast members have said about how extremely taxing and tedious it was to tape episodes of the series with all the puppetry work. But if it adds to the realism and humor of the performances, that can’t help but not be a plus.
@legocontrollerjr Make that 77! They obviously didn't know what this was! This was a masterpiece like the movies that were awesome unlike today's movies and cartoons.
I love this show! ALF needs to be in the new fall lineup. Me and my son (who was 3 years old when ALF came on) used to watch this together every week. Priceless!!
@funk192 Check the part where the window falls. Two puppeters (included Paul Fusco, the creator) and a guy who plays a remote control are involved in the first scene. When ALF goes outside, there is only a midget.
Willie was the perfect counterpoint to ALF. Max Wright had a theater background and clearly brought a lot to his performance, especially considering how messy and tediously time-consuming it was filming episodes of the series.
I got the series on DVD (most of the episodes anyways) and I can say that it's as funny now as it ever was back in the 80's. BTW, the original run is almost 24 years ago! Guess all of us were kids in the late 80's and early 90's and we just can't believe we really are gonna be the old men who keep talking about the good old days, eh? :p
I miss ALF
me too
All season and episodes all free on STARZ channel App on Google play store
I'll come back sorry for being gone so long
He was back, in pog form.
I got all 4 on dvd
no matter what he does you got to love him
Troy Andrew i dont. i hate him
Ava Lee I don't like u then if u don't like him why are u watching him
IKR! a lot of his jokes are pretty witty IMO. For example:

I have enough trouble thank God he doesn’t live in my house
"Where do you keep your casserole dishes?" "Why!?" "The cat doesn't fit the toaster!" lmao!!
Grease Fire! Grease Fire! Oh no! Never mind the curtains put me out! LMAO!
I loved this show when I was young, it is like 11 years since I saw it last time. The best thing about Alf is how he is always straight-to-the-point.
Here in '21
I saw this in Mexico too! ALF's english voice and spanish voice are incomparable, so it was weird when I heard his english voice ^_^
Yeah me too hahaha so different!!!
Really?
@@christianparrish6647 yeah!!!
@@chrismolinas3498
The German voice is much better than the original (and that is huge exception; usually the German dubbing sucks).
Really miss watching Alf :-) :-)
It's on MeTV week nights at 9!
Or on Tubi
Remember Alf? He's back. In POG form.
sexymike1253 You traded my soul for pogs?!
Millhouse give him back his soul, I got work tomorrow

why do they don´t do this kind of series today?... why 80s have gone?.... i need it back..
Thank god Shout Factory has been releasing old shows on DVD and Blu-Ray. Unfortunately ALF isn't one of those shows. :(
I wish I can live older...
I was born too late and always wondered what the heck this show was. I could definitely go for a cheesy slapstick comedy right now.
There’s a lot more options for television now than back when ALF first aired and the broadcasters, especially on network broadcast television, are fighting for whatever little audiences they can still get. It’s all about what will get viewers and sponsors.
The actors weren't happy.
I loved it, reminded me of all the hilarious moments in ALF. I loved it when I was little!
It was the 80's :) ... this will be forever in my child memories
I love Alf soooo much. He's cute, cuddly, and funny. I send him hugs and kisses.💗💗💗💗
The funniest scene on Alf is where he is hiding under the Parents bed.Willie try's to scare him out from under the bed by jumping up and down. Alf says."Way to go Willie"
If Calvin and Hobbes were ever made into a series, Max Wright would have been perfect as the voice of the father IMHO.
Too bad he passed away. :(
Luuuuuv Alf den when I was little & still do now, LOL!!!
I love this show!!
I think this tv serie brought one if not THE best christmas special ever made.
If you love Alf i can really recommend the christmas special from season 2... It's an amazing piece of work in my opinion.
Alf's voice changed over the seasons...from a plain monotone sound...to almost a goofy 3 stooges sound.
ALF WAS GREATTTTT. Really would be great if he would come back!!!
you're no longer a cat, you're a bagel. lol!

I love ALF, He is awesome!
1:20 He's connecting to the internet, modem-style...
This was a fun show!
so great to see that again - thanks a lot!!
2:54 - funniest scene in the entire series.

IKR! I would by the Season box sets, but I heard some episodes are missing.

Alf was the best ❤
used to watch ALF as a kid. very funny :)
the laughtracks were godawful... but even so, the show itself remains a classic.
Well it was too complicated to do it with a studio audience, so can you do about it?
not use laughtracks at all. Its really bad if a show believes it needs to pinpoint a moment where you should laugh.
still better than Married With Children.

According to another video, ALF was not recorded in front of a live studio audience. Which is probably why the laugh tracks aren't that great.
Who's here after Eminem referenced this show on his new album.
Music to be murdered by

AH I KILL ME

R.I.P. Max Wright, what a terrific actor.😥
He and the rest of the cast really went through a lot doing ALF, but through all that, he really added to the charm of the show.
Grease fire Grease fire! ahaha so funny
and at 4:03 when he tries to eat the cat!!
oh i miss alf
He's quick...I'll give him that! Priceless!
Willy was the best thing about Alf. You just got to admire his reactions on the brink of madness. Superb comedy!
