I am hesitant to believe about this spoiler since you already got the first episode wrong although Frankie indeed won the first maxie challenge. My Top 5 favorite queens though are Frankie, Gawdland Nane Sphera, Gigi Ferocious and Zepee.
There is no explicit reason, but I believe it was a strategy to revive the Franchise after the participation and great commotion on the part of the public with Pangina, it would be more advantageous to get sponsorship if the focus was only on her. 🤷🏻♂
Someone mentioned before that maybe because Art is a professor in college and this season is shot in the Philippines, she basically just can't leave Thailand for that long which then resulted in her only being a guest judge when she had time to travel

Season 1, Pangina wasn't good at the host ,so Art Arya was main host but She has improved that skill since season 2 and She did that.
