    Awesome build mate, looks very impressive. How do you plan on securing it all down?

    • @inspiredtoexplore
      @inspiredtoexplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Grant!
      The canopy is bolted down, I have nuts welded underneath the tray so I only need to worry about the bolt.
      All the drawers etc. are bolted down to the floor with some aluminium angle

    That's awesome, well done! Is the canopy itself heavy?

    • @inspiredtoexplore
      @inspiredtoexplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers mate! I don’t know exactly how heavy the canopy is, I didn’t weight it before. At a guess, the empty canopy is around 120kg

    Hey mate love it. How did you attach it all to the canopy floor

    • @inspiredtoexplore
      @inspiredtoexplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Harrison! On the bottom of each vertical panel, I fixed a bit of aluminium angle & bolted it through the floor.

      @@inspiredtoexplore did you consider doing a false floor and then just screwing to that to reduce holes in the canopy? If so, what was your thought process that led to this method?

    • @callerybuilding
      @callerybuilding 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@corymcclurg6386 hey Cory, didn’t go with the false floor to try & save some weight as the ply is pretty heavy already. Also without the false floor, it gives these small areas under the drawers for storing things like spare belts & hoses that will hopefully never have to come out, but can pull the drawer out of the body to access in emergency situations.

      Hey Cory,
      Just going through comments and seen yr comment.
      I put a false floor in mine using 40mm aluminium square tubing with 12mm marine ply so it was all level. 6 months later I removed it due to buying pantry and changing set up. Have a look at my video for some ideas
      Cheers

    Awesome setup, how did you secure the fridge mate?

      @inspiredtoexplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Robert! I have a strap over top of the fridge that is secured under the floor of the fridge box.

    Keen to see what it all weighs it at. Sweet set up, but all that ply looks heavy.

    Nice work, obviously you're pretty good with the tools. For the filming, you could experiment with fps, frames per second and you'll find you'll get rid of that rolling flicker. Just a thought. Love the build, you may of just inspired me to build my own. :) Good job

    How did you secure your fridge?

  • @roughnecktrekker1976
    @roughnecktrekker1976 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Maybe try and change your camera settings to PAL 50hz. It might be on NTSC 60hz which makes the flickering.
    Sweet build. 👍

    • @inspiredtoexplore
      @inspiredtoexplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Cory, not sure on the stainless itself. I got it made with a couple aluminium tie rails, all up $400. A mob called Sonnex is Adelaide. Awesome job
