What oz jig head are you using?
When we are out on a wavy day in 80ft even a 1oz is a struggle to get down.
Great video by the way! You can catch whitefish in the summer like this too. It just takes some work

Hey Jake, great question! I was using a 1/4oz jig in the video (Baddboyz BB2). With it being flat calm, it was easy to feel what was going on. I would size up to a 5/8oz jig (Baddboyz BB3) on a wavy day, and that will help. Besides that, I would strongly suggest trying an ice rod. I find it gives me better precision on those wavy days.

What is the weight of the jig?

These were the Magz BB2 which are 1/4 oz. You can go heavier to match current with a BB3, and in 20fow you could try the bb1
