We've all played hide and seek as kids and since we are basically just grown-up children we figured what better way to put a Motorcycle GPS to work than for the guys to "steal" my motorcycle and see if I can find it!

This is a pretty cool and innovative product. Really makes me wonder why most bikes do not come standard with security systems like this. I would definitely trade heated drips for a built in GPS tracker any day.

Got one of these a little over a year ago. The functionality is very cool; it really does work. That parking garage scenario is one that may prove difficult though. I am parking in a garage on the street level these days and the Invoxia frequently shows the bike sitting a few blocks away. Given that, it may take a while to find it using the proximity sensor. Very cool device though. I'd buy it again.
I'd love to have one of these trackers to give to a friend of mine. He works near a bad part of town and a couple of his coworkers have had their bike stolen or there's clear evidence that someone tried to steal it while they were working. He's got a SV1000 that my brother helped him restore and I'd hate to hear that it was taken. He works really hard for his family and is a superb friend so being able to give him something like this would be awesome!
OC: This was a good skit. If you can keep it fun like this and too cheesy then hell yeah I'd love to see more like this.
I honestly need one for my dad's new motorcycle I got him the indian challenger because it's his dream bike and he is planning lots of trips and irons butts he want to go on and a added benefit I get to see where his adventures go to lol but mainly I don't want his motorcycle to be stolen and unrecoverable keep up the amazing work you all

This is exactly how they stole my MT10 last year - a white van pulled over at 3AM, two fat guys came out and they picked up my bike like it was cheese cake and gone.
I like everything about it except the fact that 5 minutes is the quickest location update it can do. 5 minutes can mean a lot when it's a motorized vehicle. At 60 mph that's 5 miles traveled. I think for my application I want one with real time tracking.

But in real life the thieves could drive to several jurisdictions away or even another state, both greatly complicate matters for trying to get it back b4 the chop shop has it dismantled. So you MIGHT get a few pieces back. I would think any idiot would know that real time tracking is always the way to go. 🤦♂️.

OC: the skit was great you guys should do a lot more of them. I would love to get a GPS not really for me but for my brother, I gave him my bike so he could have something to go around town with but I'm still worried it'll get stolen since he's been getting death threats and hate mail.
OC: yeah, if you have the fundage, go for it! Personally, being of limited means, I would like it more if they would charge you only when you need it and not all the time. But I get it, it's a money thing...

OC, have new bikes that are backordered for several weeks around me that need protected also double as main transportation and skits all the way!
I've been thinking of one to replace the last one I had. Unfortunately, the last one had a crazy subscription rate and also was tethered to my battery. I started to have issues with my battery, but I wasn't sure if it was causing the issue. After contacting the company, they just tried to get me to UPGRADE to their newest one (that still needed to be tethered to my bike's battery). This unit; the battery within it is suppose to last a long time by itself. I want one again for my bike I have, and if it's a good one I'll definitely need it for the bike I'm suppose to get from Damon Motorcycle.
Great video, I had a brand new Kawasaki Z1000SX for only 6 months until it got stolen outside of the cinema. I was gutted, but the insurance paid out. I am planning on getting a new bike soon, but would definitely look at something like this so i dont lose my bike again!
OC love the video and I live in an apartment complex in south Phoenix and have already had my Harley-Davidson softail stolen twice even after chaining it to a building so I think I’m going to have to get one of these I know my insurance company would be happen to recover a bike instead of eating the loss

Last year I had My cycle trailer stolen right from my yard. It was cable chained to the fence. Before I replace it I need to find a better way to secure it. This GPS looks like a good solution.
Been using Airtag, but at least this gives you motion detetion if the bike has been moved.
u can set up a geofence will do the same thing
I would love to get one of these. I live in an apartment and have to keep my bike outside and no real way to keep it locked up. Also because I rebuild bikes in my little front yard area people see bikes and parts coming in and out of my place all the time. Its something that I have kept looking into but not something I could warrant spending the subscription fees for. This one seems a lot more reasonable than the others.
OC: Saw this on a suggested video but that guy was in the UK and talking about driving around western Europe. Wondered if it would work here in the States. Refreshed screen and Chase has an Invoxia, well that's timely. I could use one of those when my and I return to commuting and traveling now that my vaccine is showing promising results to keep my Beemer safely tracked. And skits make a fun change of pace.
OC: This was fun. I have a GPS mounted to my battery and works great. I also have a dog who likes to run away so maybe I can use this one with its own battery. Maybe but it into big salami for dinner?? :D

Did your phones work on that parking lot? If so, the GPS is using the same ‘antennas’ located on it.
Most probably there is a SIM card looking for signal.

OC: I would love to have one of these as a just in case type deal I am curious if it uses batteries or need to be recharged. Jeeps are being stolen left n right in north GA it seems so I feel like this would be good for cars as well. I am wondering if it does best under plastic or medal on the bike cause I feel thats important as well. Skits are 10-10.

How long does the battery last? My car was stolen May 5 and was recovered May 12. It’s still at the body shop. I feel you when you said you got your bikes stolen.... oc. Love the skits....
Depends on how frequently you want location updates (which you can change in the app). In the website, it says that it can last up to 6 months on a single cjarge

Apple AirTag is an option, no mothly fee. Only a new battery once a year and its smaller, easyier to hide. Con needs people with iPhones nearby.

I've been testing this, and I don't think it works at all.
It doesn't use cellular, it uses the Helium IOT network, which just does not exist anywhere.
If you have your smart phone on and carrying it with you while you drive, you will be fooled and you will think it's working... because it's connecting to your phone in your pocketvia bluetooth, and uploading the data points to the app and up to the cloud.
But if your vehicle is stolen, your smart phone is going to be nowhere near around and totally out of bluetooth range. To test and confirm I'm not talking shlt, switch off your phone and drive around for a day, and you will find, it sends no GPS location data points up to the network and to the app at all.... because the the Helium IOT network cratered and does not exist anywhere, despite their coverage map.
After a month or two mine has stopped working. It's stuck in Standby mode and nothing I do in the app can connect to it via Bluetooth, even though I have it paired and connected, and even if I push the button on the tracker.... and it's fully charged. This thing pretty much is a POS. SInce the GPS Helium function as a GPS tracker was useless since the Helium Network cratered, I thought I could at least use the Bluetooth proximity location function of it to work like an air tag, so I put it on my keychain. Nope, it didn't last.
OC those skits were 🔥 y'all had me rollin 🤣. Also I would legit love that gps for my wife's bike, it's a 50CC and she hold back from using it for errands because she's afraid it'll sprout legs and walk off. I'd love to bring a bit more comfort into her world and allow her to get on 2 wheels more often!!!

I need to get one. was always unsure about how accurate something like this was. if you cant see it or be able to tell the police exactly what house or structure its in there not going to be able to do much. but the proximity part of it just may get you closer then just gps. my bike was stolen last month cops pretty much told me i'm sol. no theft insurance so i'm screwed. buying an other bike this needs to be my first purchase.
