I'm excited to get into the Flight Industry. Also the fact you can also fly on any other Airline for free as a Flight Attendant like Delta and American which is soo dope. And that's with any Airline like Breeze Airways as well.. This is what makes me excited.
Definitely a fun industry! But your travel benefits depends on the company. We only get very few for free and the rest we get at a discount. We don’t get Delta or American unfortunately haha but we get United at a discount
your videos have been so insightful for me! I applied for a full time FA position with Breeze Airways for ORF, but my video interview was.....not pretty lol hoping for the best! Thanks for posting all of these videos!
I'm so excited for you that you have your new place! And you deserve nice things to happen to you bc you are one of the nicest people I know. 😊💗 Keep going.

Hi ! Absolutely a big fan of yiur channel 😊. Had a question for you. When working reserved do you still receive $22.50 an hour or is the pay different? Do they pay you anything per hour while on reaerve but not in flight ? Also, If you live fairly close to the airport do you have to stay at the airport during reserve? Thanks for all the questions you answer !!!
Okay so, if you’re talking about siting airport reserve then yes you get paid 3.5 hours at $22.50 (if it’s your first year) for a 6 hour sit - this goes towards your flight hours for the month. Home reserve is a little hard to explain because technically yes you are still getting paid but it’s not per hour because you only get paid for flight hours. So let’s say you sit strictly home reserve for a month, you’ll get paid your monthly guaranteed hours (70 for full time) because your flight hours for the month would be 0. But anything you fly (or airport reserve) goes towards your flight hours for the month. So let’s say you fly 80 hours this month for example then you get paid 80. But if you only fly 10 hours for this month and sit one airport reserve (3.5 hours), it’s not 70 hours, more like 13.5 but you’ll still get paid 70 for the month. Hope that makes sense I’ll try to do a video on it haha.
@@dearkloveis it likely that you would get more than 70hr/mo starting out? And if not, how long would it take? At their current starting pay ($25/hr) I would need to work well over 100hr/mo to make a decent living🫤
Hi, What are the travel benefits? Do you get free flights? Also, I saw something about traveling on other airlines. Can you talk about those benefits? Thank you 😊
Hi I live in New Orleans as well. And I’ve recently applied to Breeze Airways fingers crossed 🤞 😊 I would love to chat with you! For encouragement or sharing knowledge, etc.
@@dearkloveThat's crazy how we all live in New Orleans and all applied for Breeze. So many other airlines and we chose Breeze lol. My reasons for picking it are that I more than likely would be able to get senior pretty quickly.
Hi again i forgot to mention when i send you my last comment i am from Nola as well and yes i applied for Nola just received my assessment test i hope to meet u one day...
Hey Is it possible for you to explain how one would potentially be a successful flight attendant if their base is away from there home town? Would they have to move to that base area?
It’s preferred if you move to that base but you can commute on JetBlue or Southwest. You may possibly have to get a crashpad if you’re commuting so you can have somewhere to sleep incase you’re not called on reserves. For reserve shifts you have to be in base but you may not always get used.
I have a question. I’m currently applying for MSY and it’s asking do I live within 2 hours…If I plan to commute do I put no? Will this reject my application?
@@dearklove so would it be better to put like a hotel address for my home address? I really want to apply and plan to relocate shortly after if I’m hired.
Hi! I don’t think right now they are hiring for part time but, that is correct you would just apply. Also, the company will open up bids every so often to allow you the opportunity to switch over if you chose but there’s no set timeframe for that.
The company will pay for your hotel, you’re paid per diem during your overnights. Delays depend how long, like if it goes into your day off or extends your day to 12+ hours, things like that it’s paid but usually you are not paid
Hey sis quick question! I currently have a remote job m-f 8-5. Im interested in being a FA but im not sure if my current job would excuse me for training if im to get hired. How long was your training and do they have shifts that are strictly night/weekends ?
Training was 3 weeks for Breeze and the shifts are not strictly night/weekends but the higher seniority you have the more you can control your schedule
You can commute on JetBlue and Southwest right away, free. You receive breeze benefits after 30 days, free. At 90 and 180 days we get more airlines that you can nonrev on. It totals to 90+, but those range in pricing but still a decent discount.
Um yes & no lol, charters we’re automatically on reserve days but we get our trips scheduled well in advance. If I was to go back to regular flying and bid for a line then I probably wouldn’t be on reserve, my seniority is pretty high ⬆️
Yes we have the same flight benefits 😊. You can commute on Southwest and JetBlue right away. At 30 days you get Breeze benefits, at 90 days you get about 10 more smaller airlines like Spirit, Sun Country. Then at 180 days we get close to 100 airlines that we can fly on for a fraction of the price depending on distance and such.
@@dearklove Hi. I used to be a flight attendant for American Airlines. If you were to give a rough estimate, what’s usually the discount to fly with other airlines? Also, is it standby or a confirm ticket? Do part time FA get health benefits? TIA

What is the minimum amount of hours you have to work a week to be considered part-time
20 hours a month is the minimum you can go down to. In aviation our hours are counted by month not week

How do you manage part-time ? If you don’t mind me asking ? Do you have another job ?
Manage money wise? I share a place with 2 of my classmates from training and I don’t have a second job but I have another stream of income
Hi, how is commuting or stand by look like with your company? I know they are new do they have crew rooms?
Hi! You can commute using 2 other airlines if needed. But it’s recommended you live 50 miles within base. We also do not have crew rooms yet
I have a question. I’m currently applying for MSY and it’s asking do I live within 2 hours…If I plan to commute do I put no? Will this reject my application?

What kind of shoes do you wear for your uniform? It looked like the other flight attendant had on sneakers.
Yep! We have black + white sneakers 😊There's a few different links in the description box of the shoes we can wear

How much does Breeze pay for entry level flight attendants?
$22.50 per flight hour

Do you get paid something for home reserve?
Home reserve is included in your monthly guaranteed hours. It should be about 3/3.5 hours
@@dearklove The guarantee for me is 37.5 hours a month... Is that the max? Or they normally give you more hours?
How easy was it to get transferred to Florida? I currently live here and I applied but I don’te see that as an option :/
It may take a while honestly. It’s one of our fully staffed bases ☹️
*correction! We actually just had base bids open and they were looking for flight attendants for TPA so safe to say there’s always a possibility 😊

37.5 hours guarantee a month & 3 weeks!
