Társszerzőként szeretnék egy fontos megjegyzést tenni az ó-izlandi sagákról, illetve azokról, akiken keresztül megmaradtak az utókornak ezek a feljegyzések.
Elhangzott a történet utáni magyarázó részben az az információ, hogy a varázslás technikáit nem tartalmazzák a leírások… Ennek nyilván sokféle oka van, némelyik lehet akár az eltérő, az immár pogánynak minősülő gondolkodás visszaszorítása is…
De a legfontosabb ok mégis máshol keresendő, és ezt fontos leszögezni, hogy ne legyenek félreértések, hogy ne hangozzon elítélőnek, vagy ítélkezőnek a késői utódok szájából az a megjegyzés, hogy hiányos a lejegyzés...
Igazából a varázslással kapcsolatban nem a lejegyzések hiányosak, hanem a tevékenység maga az, ami titkokkal terhes, olyan tikokkal, amelyeket nem volt szokás sem régen, sem ma megosztani, elbeszélni vagy leírni. Egyik korban sem, - legyen az a vikingeké vagy bármikor előbb netán később -, mindenki birtokolta azokat a képességeket, amelyekkel bele lehet „avatkozni” a világ energetikai rendszerébe. Mivel képességről van szó, bár ebben van természetesen tanult módszer jócskán, nem publikus, nem olyasmi, amit a mesélők tudnának, akik ezeket a történeteket megosztották a tüzek mellett, vagy a nagycsarnokok kandallói mellett. Éppen attól izgalmas a dolog, hogy megfejtésre szorul…
